In 2001, Michael Moore published his number one bestseller "STUPID WHITE MEN and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation!". It nearly did not get published because of 9/11 as Moore took the piss out of G W Bush beforehand.
In the book, There is a list of, I guess, stupid white men who lead the world political system into the abyss of a crapper. There are also some black men. Overall, it seems, the human species is lead by idiots because, let's face it, Homo sapiens is a STUPID species.

The vote to determine House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney’s fate in leadership is scheduled for Wednesday morning — after months of the No. 3 GOP member being at war with her own party. Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) is slated to initiate the call for the vote to oust the Wyoming lawmaker, who came under fire for her criticisms of former President Donald Trump. The meeting is slated to kick off at 9 a.m., the morning after House lawmakers arrive back to Washington after their two-week recess.

Five European powers have urged the Israeli government to "cease its policy of settlement expansion" across the West Bank as “threatening prospects for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict". The so-called Northern Triangle of Central America, consisting of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, has been long been plagued by social unrest, poverty, violence, and corruption, partially attributable to centuries of US meddling in the region's affairs. The crisis has caused many people from these countries to flee in search of a better life.

In late January, POTUS inked the so-called "Buy American" order, an executive action that Joe Biden said would help "rebuild the backbone of America: manufacturing, unions, and the middle class". In the coming weeks, Brussels may take a countermeasure to press EU member states to "Buy European", in retaliation for Washington's "Buy American" drive, Politico reports.

Regardless of the politicisation by our idiotic leaders or utter denialism by some people, GLOBAL WARMING is happening — FAST. Not only we are burning fossil fuels that create gases that absorb extra heat in the atmosphere, we are experiencing a NATURAL weakening of the earth magnetic system and/or possible polarity change SOON … This would create some extra confusion and uncertainty in our future.

What in America they call the State of the Union, in Australia we call the federal budget. As surprising as it may seem, Australian budgets aren't really about money — they're about values. As a case in point, a key part of next week's Budget will be an announcement about childcare, but the childcare measures won't start until 2022-23.
