MAGA can't be a threat to the soul of a country with no soul …...

Conservatives on social media reacted to President Joe Biden’s recent divisive political speech, in which he referred to “MAGA Republicans” as a “threat” to “the very soul of this nation,” by sarcastically explaining how they are threats to the nation as well.

“I go to work. I work hard. I go to the gym. I hunt. I fish. I spend time with friends and family. I pay my taxes and don’t break the law. I play disc golf. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” one Twitter user wrote.

“I’m a registered nurse nearing retirement,” another explained. “I like taking walks and reading mystery novels. I adopted a baby and she’s now an engineering student with a scholarship. I pay my taxes. I don’t break the law. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation.”

“I work hard, garden, cook, bake, spin, knit weave and throw pots. I’ve been married 33 years and have two grown kids. I’ve owned businesses and pay taxes. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” a third said.

“I’m paying for both of my kids’ college. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” another Twitter user quipped.

“I’m retired LE. I own my home. I believe in God. I believe life begins at conception. I enjoy the outdoors, going to the gym and riding my road bicycle. I also teach people to use firearms safely and responsibly. I am a threat to the very soul of the nation,” another proclaimed.

“I’m a mom, I take care of my sick mother, who can’t live on her own. I love my dogs and I cook ‘real food’ for them twice a day, everyday. I just bought my first house, and I love to decorate and bake goodies for my neighbors. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” another echoed.

“I work 40 hrs per week. Watch my grandsons after work while my daughter goes to trade school. Pay taxes. Work part time for a charity. Cook and clean for my grandkids and love my dogs! I am a threat to the very soul if this nation,” another Twitter user wrote.

Another said, “I’m a middle aged mom. I raised two children whom I taught to love Christ and be kind to others. I bake casseroles. I listen to 80’s pop music. I pay my taxes and don’t break the law. I’m also now considered a threat to the soul of the nation.”

In July 2022, Republican Senator Chuck Grassley denounced an FBI special agent, who he suspected of partaking in a plan to debunk the information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop. During a Senate hearing, FBI Director Christopher Wray said he was deeply troubled by the "kinds of things" that Senator Grassley had brought to his attention.

Interviewed by Joe Rogan on 25 August, Meta (Facebook) director Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the FBI had contacted his staff to caution them against Russian misinformation and that, following that warning, he censored all content related to the New York Post’s revelations about Hunter Biden’s computer. ‎

The following day, on 26 August, the FBI issued a press release acknowledging that it had indeed sounded the alarm with social network owners, but only in general, without specifically mentioning Hunter Biden, and, furthermore, that FBI Director Christopher Wray had fired one of his special agents, Timothy Thibault, accused of having gone beyond his duties by manipulating the media.

Thibault claims his innocence and assures that a more in-depth investigation will show that he did not commit the offense attributed to him.

On 29 August, Republican senators Chuck Grassley (IA) and Ron Johnson (WI), wrote to Mark Zuckerberg asking him to clarify what the FBI had told his staff.

This case is making a lot of noise considering that the computer seized by the FBI contains incriminating evidence on Hunter Biden which entangles his father. However, in early August, a number of whistleblowers testified before Senator Grassley that the FBI had devised a plan to discredit the information on Hunter Biden’s computer with the aim of protecting President Joe Biden.

Former National Intelligence Director Richard Grenell pointed out that none of the fifty-odd FBI agents who approached the social media had information allowing them to confound the content of the New York Post publications with Russian disinformation.

With this statement, Richard Grenell directly contradicts the numerous National Intelligence officials who, on 19 0ctober 2020, attempted to dismiss the case around Hunter Biden as mere “Russian disinformation” [1].

In his speech announcing the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin alluded to Hunter Biden (board member of the Ukrainian hydrocarbon giant Burisma) and his friends by speaking of a “gang of drug addicts” who had plundered the wealth of Ukraine. Subsequently, the Russian Ministry of Defense released documents attesting that Hunter Biden, through a company he had created with John Kerry’s son-in-law, had piloted the military biological research program in Ukraine on behalf of the Pentagon.

More than half of Americans believe that President Joe Biden’s September 1 speech in Philadelphia was a “dangerous escalation” of political rhetoric, designed to “incite conflict” in the US. Republicans and independents are overwhelmingly alarmed by Biden’s words, and even 18% of Democrats agree, according to a poll published Tuesday by the Trafalgar Group.

Standing before Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Biden used Thursday’s televised speech to claim that “equality and democracy are under assault” by “MAGA Republicans” led by his predecessor Donald Trump. 

According to the Trafalgar survey, 56.8% of the Americans saw the speech as “a dangerous escalation in rhetoric and is designed to incite conflict amongst Americans,” while 35.5% said it was “acceptable campaign messaging that is expected in an election year.”

Broken down by party affiliation, 89.1% of Republicans, 18.7% of Democrats and 62.4% of independents considered Biden’s speech dangerous and divisive. Only 4.7% of Republicans and 31.2% of independents thought it was normal, along with 70.8% of Democrats.
