creative destruction in gaza.....
LIFE AND DEATH IS THE ESSENCE OF CREATIVE DESTRUCTION… THIS HAS BEEN THE MESSAGE FROM MR GUS LEONISKY FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS… THUS THE THEORY PUSHED BY PROFESSOR PHILIPPE AGHION THAT GAVE HIM THE NOBEL PRIZE IN ECONOMICS IS A STEAL FROM NATURAL LAWS — AND FROM SCHUMPETER, WHO STOLE IT FROM THE SAID NATURE AS WELL. WE KNOW. THE JEWISH SURVIVAL CODE IS BASED ON THE SAME PRINCIPLE — A PRINCIPLE THAT ISRAEL HAS APPLIED WITH FERVOUR IN GAZA, ON THE FOOTSTEPS OF A DUDE CALLED HITLER… ONE DOES NOT CREATE SOMETHING WITHOUT DESTROYING SOMETHING ELSE. ALLELUYAH…
FROM CHARLIE HEBDO: It seems that the only way to move humanity forward is through constant innovation. At least, that's what Philippe Aghion, the newly awarded Nobel laureate in economics, has been telling us all day long, as he's been appearing on television for weeks, pontificating about the theory of "creative destruction." Stéphane Ménia, professor of economics, offers his perspective.
Charlie Hebdo: The theory of "creative destruction" explains that innovations destroy old activities but create new wealth. Isn't that a very pompous and complicated way to describe a phenomenon that has been observable for a long time?
Stéphane Ménia: Of course, in a sense it's a bit simplistic. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeter—who originated this theory—wanted to highlight the fact that capitalism progresses, and that innovators are the main driver of this progress. Today, we're used to this mechanism, and there's even a whole mythology surrounding the entrepreneur-inventor, so it seems obvious to us. However, behind creative destruction, there are many mechanisms at play that allow us to better understand how the economy works.
So, what exactly did Aghion understand that earned him the prize?

Professor Philippe Aghion is the 2025 Nobel Prize laureate in economics, a Professor at the College de France and at the London School of Economics, and an Associate of the Centre for Economic Performance. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
His research focuses on the economics of growth. With Peter Howitt, he pioneered the so-called Schumpeterian Growth paradigm which was subsequently used to analyse the design of growth policies and the role of the state in the growth process. Much of this work is summarized in their joint book Endogenous Growth Theory (MIT Press, 1998) and The Economics of Growth (MIT Press, 2009), in his book with Rachel Griffith on Competition and Growth (MIT Press, 2006), and in his survey “What Do We Learn from Schumpeterian Growth Theory” (joint with U. Akcigit and P. Howitt.)
In 2001, Philippe Aghion received the Yrjo Jahnsson Award of the best European economist under age 45, in 2009 he received the John Von Neumann Award, and in March 2020 he shared the BBVA “Frontier of Knowledge Award” with Peter Howitt for “developing an economic growth theory based on the innovation that emerges from the process of creative destruction.”
