the bucks of war are fuelled by the industry of hate.....The revelation was somewhat sudden, but it shocked the entire French government and a section of the European elite at once: to make munitions, to make cannons and airplanes, to train men and prepare them for war, it now seems undeniable that a hell of a lot of money is needed. The big bucks of war... by h16
Once the shock has passed, let us acknowledge that our leaders have a certain alacrity in their almost reflexive response to what must then be done: large sums of public money must therefore be mobilized, quickly, in order to launch as quickly as possible this essential production of arms, munitions and training for the armies of Europe, ♩ before of course ♪ making it a large ♫ and beautiful European Army ♬. Send the fanfare, it must vibrate! Therefore, within the European Union apparatus, since these impressive monetary masses must be found, there is a lot of commotion. It is not entirely clear how we are going to do this, but the will is there, or almost. Some seem absolutely determined, others are thinking hard about it, while others calmly watch things slowly coagulate. In spite of the beautiful unanimity, we are already seeing cracks and hesitations. In short, the attempts at tinkering are multiplying and increasingly resemble grotesque contortions, and we are being sold (rather painfully) the idea that European Member States would be capable of agreeing on a new batch of loans for truly colossal amounts. Thus, a total amount estimated at 650 billion euros (several times the annual budget of the Union, exclusively oriented towards defense) is being mentioned without flinching, while at the same time authorizing 150 billion euros of loans to Member States with a convenient authorization to exceed the rule of "3% of GDP deficits" for 4 years. In practice, this agreement once again resembles a nice media tale : if, unsurprisingly, Emmanuel Macron's lively France is still ready to emphatically splash out European taxpayers' money without thinking twice about the expense in YOLO mode, however, the situation is very different in countries like the Netherlands, which are completely opposed to it. Furthermore, it is suspected that Germany will probably not be more favorable: the very idea of eurobonds directly clashes with German treaties and management methods, to which the Germans have made it clear they remain very attached. Furthermore, the Germans have no desire at all to create additional deficits, especially since they have wrecked their industrial base and are beginning to realize this. Above all, and so visibly that it is annoying, Germany has no desire at all to "bet on Europe" because that would essentially amount to...betting on France (in particular) while it has clearly confirmed buy american. In other words, this story continues to be nothing more than a publicity stunt, a media agitation essentially propelled by a Von der Leyen who needs to exist while Trump's America has made it clear to her that she is negligible, and by a Macron whose legitimacy at home is so slim that he has no other political option at his disposal than to act the fool at pompous summits where the useless competes with the grandiloquent. What is true at the European level is also true at the French level, with perfectly transposable mechanisms. To continue playing the muscle in the big league, it's necessary to allocate a lot of free money from others, and to achieve this, the French government is therefore proposing the idea of a super juicy investment product to redirect the savings of the French towards defense. One idea could have been to encourage shareholding in specialized companies, such as Dassault, Nexter, Safran, Thales, but this idea is far too pragmatic and not compatible enough with Bercy to be even put forward. Therefore, the communist clown who currently serves as Minister of the Economy is trying to set up a particularly vague investment product : to finance French military spending, the government is proposing an investment with no minimum return, no guaranteed capital and which will be blocked for five years. If such a financial arrangement were presented by a private company, the Financial Markets Authority would quickly reclassify it as a risky scam. Of course, this will be a product without any obligation. Here, we understand that the product in question seems above all to be a pigeon call, the amount collected of which could above all be used to skillfully plug a government budget that is quite full of holes, while all the country's economic indicators are turning red. In short, the operation has only a tenuous connection with the Russian villains and much more with the mechanvirus for which it was spent whatever the cost. Now we have nothing left in the coffers and the borrowing and rolling capacity of French debt is greatly reduced, not to say "completely disappeared." The fact that the rating agencies hesitate to downgrade the rating of French sovereign debt indicates, more than a stability of the country's economy, the obvious risk, well felt by these agencies, that they would trigger a panic by doing so. They had been less cautious a few years ago, because it was still possible, at the time, to absorb the bad news. This is no longer the case today. In practice, they send a clear signal: France is at the maximum it can do before having a debt that is truly considered unsustainable. This is not surprising: the country is facing a major impasse, and several constraints are violently clashing. On the one hand, there is of course the urgent need to revive industry in the country (and in particular that of defense, not specifically for the Russian threat, which is very fanciful and quite unrealistic, but more generally because we have cut budgets for too long and postponed decisions and upgrades to French defense, which is nothing like anything now). On the other hand, we must find funds quickly to camouflage the catastrophic French financial situation. Finally, there remains the political choice of not touching the biggest item in the State, i.e. pensions, the only amount whose adjustment would immediately free up sufficient room for maneuver, especially since no savings are envisaged in any of the ministries, agencies and other high authorities, which are nevertheless bloated and expensive in the State: Macron's electorate would not support it and, with it, the entire political-media apparatus. Despite the fine words, despite the brazen boasting of members of the government assuring us that they have everything under control and are planning, it is clear that these different constraints cannot all coexist at the same time. Yes indeed: the reality is this rough plaster on which the buttocks of idiots who do whatever they want inevitably rub themselves. Now, there is little doubt that the government's buttocks have now been in contact with this plaster for several months, and the headless chicken agitations we observe in the media do not at all mask the problem: France is on the verge of bankruptcy. The tinkering is multiplying, as are the government's gesticulations, but nothing will change: this country is doomed. source: hashtable

afraid of peace....
US President Donald Trump’s efforts to secure peace in Ukraine have caused panic among European leaders like Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer and Friedrich Merz, who desperately want to “escape from their political death,” retired French Army Colonel Alain Corvez tells Sputnik.
“They have made a bargain on the war in Ukraine, and they have lost the war. They cannot accept peace imposed by Russia and America. So they are doing things that are completely unrealistic and illogical,” says Corvez, an international strategy consultant and former international relations consultant for France’s Defense and Interior Ministries.
Macron and the likes of him do not care about Ukraine – all they care about is “their own fate” amid the prospects of the European Union’s dissolution.
Macron’s decision to oppose the Black Sea ceasefire deal conditions is a “stupid decision," Corvez notes, as France and other European powers hold no sway in the Ukrainian conflict peace process.
“They are not able to do anything unless they want to declare war on Russia, which is the first nuclear power in the world, which is completely stupid,” he observes. “But unless they declare war to Russia, they have no option. They have nothing that they are able to do.”
France’s plans to establish some kind of buffer zone in Ukraine is “absolutely impossible” as well, since “peace will be established by Russia and America with an agreement, a strategic agreement, which will officialize the necessity of security for Russia and that Ukraine would be neutral and not in NATO.”
“And then it will be a strategic agreement between Russia and America. Then in this framework, in this kind of agreement, Europe has nothing to do and nothing to suggest, and it's impossible to send troops to control a buffer zone along the Dnepr or along any other rivers or lines,” Corvez adds.
