"misleading" truth.......,

Twitter users corrected the Washington Post’s star fact-checker, Glenn Kessler, when he attempted to write off the claim that liberal financier George Soros had funded the Manhattan district attorney who indicted former US president Donald Trump as “misleading.”

Kessler, who rated the “incendiary claim” that Soros funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg “three Pinocchios” in a Saturday fact-check, accused the Trump campaign and other Republicans who echoed the factoid of “being slippery” and conjuring “stereotypes of rich Jewish financiers secretly controlling events.”

However, his fact-check also admitted the claim was “technically correct,” a caveat he appeared to discount in his final decision to award it the triple-Pinocchio rating. Twitter users pounced, appending a community note adding context to Kessler’s own admission of truth.

“Soros donated $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, the largest individual donation it received in the 2022 election cycle, days after it endorsed Bragg for district attorney and pledged more than $1 million in spending to support his candidacy,” the second-order fact-check explained.

Kessler accused the note’s authors of not having read his fact-check, pointing out that racial issues NGO Color of Change didn’t actually spend $1 million on Bragg – only for the anonymous tweeters to respond that they had never claimed it had. The fact-checker’s tweet sprouted a community note almost identical in wording to the first, reminding Kessler that it was Soros’ pledged support for Bragg that was the issue, not Color of Change’s.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk appeared to appreciate this use of the community notes feature, tweeting, “The only thing on fire are Kessler’s pants.”

Trump’s campaign repeatedly referenced the “Soros-funded prosecutor” and “special interest donors like Soros” in a statement released Friday, boasting it had raised $4 million in the first 24 hours following the former president’s “sham indictment,” implying the American people were sick of Soros pulling the levers of American politics.

Even Politifact and CNN’s fact-checkers acknowledged the Open Society Foundations philanthropist had indirectly funded Bragg via Color of Change, though the virulently anti-Trump news network was careful to couch its admission in accusations of “antisemitism” and “anti-blackness.”

Soros’ son and daughter-in-law also contributed directly to Bragg’s election campaign.

Trump, his chief Republican rival Ron DeSantis, and other conservative politicians have blamed Soros-funded prosecutors in large Democrat-run cities for a surge in violent crime, arguing the district attorneys’ efforts to eliminate cash bail and relax sentencing guidelines have emboldened dangerous criminals who know they will not be punished for anything short of a violent felony.

empire porkies.....

by Brigitte Bouzonnie

Today, I would like to talk about an aspect little known to the general public, even for the political activists that we are (Marxists, Ex-LFI, PRCF, UPR): that of the enormous lies, running through the official history of the USSR: from the October Revolution to Soviet communism, notably the Stalin period. Most often lies produced on the initiative of the CIA and what has been called "McCartysm", a rather vague portmanteau word, exonerating from pointing out the real culprits.

To carry out this work, we relied on the excellent video and conference of the historian, Mrs. Annie Lacroix-Riz entitled " The Black Book of Anti-Communism » at the Librairie des tropiques, 2014. On the recent book entitled: « Krushchev lied »by Grégory Fur, published by Delga, which of course I will come back to and talk to you about when I have read it entirely. The very good book written by Patrick Pesnot, author and producer of the famous "Monsieur X" on France Inter. " The dark side of the United States “, new world pocket, 2014: in particular the chapter devoted to Irving Brown, traveling salesman in American propaganda, militant of the “freedom congress”, financed by the CIA. In this capacity, he produced the review “Preuves” financed by the CIA, which Pierre Bourdieu denounced, and conferences bringing together many anti-Communist intellectuals. Also, Eric Branca's book: " The romance of the damned. These Nazis in the service of the victors after 1945 », Perrin edition, 2019.

1. Let's start with the verbatim of the beginning of Annie Lacroix-Riz's video on the falsification of Soviet history: It's about showing how the October Revolution and the sequel are fabricated, but to a degree unimaginable, for ordinary mortals. Much work remains to be done on the conditions for implementing the falsification of Soviet history. And to quote his two reference books: “ History under influence » (1984) and “ History still under influence » : 2012. This poses the problem of « historians of consensus », whose work is paid by the CIA. It is clear that a whole political operation has been implemented in this direction. And that we don't know this well. It would be necessary to get to know the leading political and business circles better, and a certain number of influential academics, both in the United States and in Europe.

There is a very good American author, whose distribution problems show that he was not in court: Christopher Simpson, author of "Return of Flames", 1988. He was interested in the "retraining" of those in charge Nazis in 1945 by the US deep state. He has also written on universities, the Empire, money in the social sciences. How scholars from America's most prestigious universities were hired and promoted by the CIA. How their work has been so successful. How the CIA ensured the dissemination of their books. Harvard University was associated with “knowledge” programs on the Soviet Union, which did not have all the required scientificity. It was to engage the university in a general task, aimed at bringing down the Soviet Union. How Stanford University was partnered in a counterinsurgency program: work used in suppressing Vietnamese fighters, during the Vietnam War.

With us, there is nothing. Sigmund Diamond, American progressive, showed the compromise of campuses with the Intelligence Community in 1945-1946. This book is not translated. Hélène Schnecker showed how cultural McCartyism was ready as early as 1939, with an anti-Communist strategy in the United States as delirious as here. For example, by focusing on the German-Soviet pact, a story of decaniller Stalin. She studied the violence of McCartyism: how honest academics, who did not want to be corrupted, saw their lives ruined.

In an interview with the review Génèses n°49, a now retired American academic says: “I must go back to this period, which marked me so deeply, even if I was not a communist. Demobilized in 1946, it was unthinkable to become a communist. And he gives examples of people, who lost their careers in the United States. You had to sign an oath at Berkeley and some left. Me, I was very young, and when I took my post in 1948, I had to sign a loyalty oath (sic).

2. The importance of the role of the Nazi, Adolf Heusinger, in rewriting the history of the Second World War, especially the war in the East. Result: A 34-page compendium of World War II forgery.

The program of rewriting history is not limited to the corruption of the academic field. In his excellent book titled: The novel of the damned, these Nazis in the service of the victors (most often, the United States), Perrin edition, 2019, the Gaullist historian Eric Branca draws a rough portrait of Adolf Heusinger, ex-close to Hitler: did he not meet him more than 700 times, especially at the Wolf's Lair, residence of the Fuhrer?! Moreover, he is in charge of the dark mass murders in the East, " for the purpose of securing the rear of the Wermacht (sic). Thus, 5,5 million Ukrainians, including 1,5 million Jews, were killed during the Second World War.

In May 1945, he went to the Americans, offering them his superb documentation on the Soviet Union. Especially the military power aspect of the USSR. Incredibly, he avoids the Nuremberg Tribunal and participates in the US Army's "Operational History Section," a 34-page compendium of World War II forgery. Under the direct control of Dwight Eisenhower, Heusinger, who became Chief of Staff of the US Army, coordinated the work of Nazi officers who became “historians”. And which of course recount the years 000-1939, from an angle that is favorable to them. Actively clearing Wermacht cadres. It was on this occasion that the tenacious legend was forged between a “clean” Wermacht, as opposed to a “dirty” SS.

As summed up by historian Jean Solchany, “former Wermacht officers manage to disseminate their own vision of history. Operation Barbarossa, with its sad 27 million deaths on the Soviet side, is presented as a simple "preventive attack" (sic).

3. For its part, the recent study written by Grover Furr at Delga editions shows that the Khrushchev report is a fake. Major information that requires a complete rethinking of Soviet history, the history of socialism.

For all the importance of this work, Furr's book is not a thunderclap in a clear sky. In his " CIA history “, edition of Pocket, 2017, John Prados, already wrote: “ the Krushchev report is an invention of the CIA, in particular of James J. Angleton, one of the bosses of the CIA. His masterstroke (sic). And to tell the following anecdote: Krushchev was invited to the United States in 1959. He notably met Dulles, who boasted of the excellence of the CIA's reports on what was happening in the USSR. Krushchev replies: “I think we read the same ones” »(Sic).

In his "secret report" of February 1956, Nikita Khrushchev accuses Joseph Stalin of immense crimes. The report deals a terrible blow to the international communist movement. Change the course of history. For example, we can affirm that Mitterrand would never have become President of the Republic in 1981, with a non-delegitimized Communist Party, demonetized by the sad Khrushchev report.

Aymeric Morville, editor of Delga Editions, writes on the back cover: “Grover Furr has spent a decade studying the flood of documents from the former Soviet archives and published since the end of the USSR. In this in-depth study of the Khrushchev report, he reveals the startling results of his investigation: not a single one of Khrushchev's “revelations” is correct! The most influential speech of the twentieth century – if not of all time – is a scam.

By basing their works on Khrushchev's lies, Soviet and Western historians, including Trotskyists and anti-Communists, have truly falsified Soviet history. Almost everything we thought we knew about the Stalin years is up for review. The history of the USSR and of the communist movement is to be completely rewritten.

"Khrushchev Lied" is a magnificent book, a tremendous work of research and reasoning, clear and precise in its writing and thrilling in its findings and conclusions. In revisiting old sources and using new material from the Soviet archives, Grover Furr's study demands a complete rethinking of Soviet history, the history of socialism, and even twentieth-century world history. Roger Keeran, professor of history at Empire State College in New York, co-author of Socialism Betrayed: The Causes of the Fall of the Soviet Union;

4. The CIA also plays an important role in the structuring and development of the non-communist left, as Patrick Pesnot, producer of Events with X on France Inter, in his book titled “ The dark side of the United States », new world pocket, 2014. It devotes one of its chapters to the itinerary of Irving Brown, CIA agent, trade unionist. Pesnot shows how the creation of the Force Ouvrière in 1947 was an idea dreamed up by Irving Brown, largely financed by the CIA.

But that's not all. Irving Brown and Georges Albertini create the "Congress for Freedom and for Culture", bringing together non-Communist intellectuals. In June 1950, in Berlin, the founding conference was held. The success is impressive. Albert Camus, ex-journalist at Combat, Pierre Frenay, ex-boss of the resistance group "Combat", the socialist Léon Blum, Raymond Aron, the writers Jules Romains and André Gide take part.

We see how the communist ideology is directly undermined, violently competed by non-communist intellectuals. For example, Hannah Arendt and her supposed Nazi "banality of evil" benefited (thanks to the CIA, whose modus operandi we recognize) from worldwide publicity, which made her herself surprised at her own notoriety: as shown an audio document heard on France Inter during an Intelligence Service program devoted to the philosopher (December 2022).

In conclusion, we feel dizzy, dizzy, faced with this fallacious historical reality, structuring our knowledge of the communist world. Everything remains to be reconstructed ideologically speaking, with in particular a Stalin, who without being a white dove, does not deserve all the crimes attributed to him, other than on paper in the Krushchev report. I remember a debate with my friend Jean-Pierre Combe, an activist from the Pole for the Renaissance of French Communism. He told me that " when all the archives come out, we will discover a gray Stalin (sic). And it will already be a huge step forward compared to the current imagination of each and everyone in France 2023.

At this point, we can only take the measure of the enormous lies, which we take for historical truth since high school. And at least pose the problem of our fallacious understanding of the USSR, in particular that of the role played by the so-called left-wing “intellectuals”, contributing to the falsification of communist reality…!

BY Gordon Duff Trump’s Arrest a Message to Israel and the Neocons

Who’s Who

Despite occasional protests from Tucker Carlson, the Murdoch disinformation organization is, to the largest extent, a prime mover toward war on Ukraine and efforts to destabilize Russia.

Murdoch himself inheritor to the Greenbaum news organization in Australia needs to be understood.  The Murdoch organization is also  the inheritor to the Maxwell mantle, an entirely Mossad run disinformation project operating hand in hand with British fascists under the mantle of freemasonry and resurgent fascist extremism.

Espionage using blackmail, bribery and disinformation is their stock and trade, not simply the News of the World “phone hacking” scandal but so much more.

Murdoch’s move to the United States signaled a move toward not simply fascism but open collusion between organized crime, foreign intelligence agencies, not simply Israel but those aligned with the neoconservative movement in the US.

The Arrest of Donald Trump

The recent arrest of Donald Trump has sent shockwaves through the political world, but it should not come as a surprise. Trump, who has long been associated with the neoconservative movement and the pro-Israel lobby in the United States, was always a potential liability for those who wished to maintain control over the political landscape.

Personal sources have Trump working for the Soviets as far back as the Carter administration.  Similarly, the CIA used Trump to launder stolen Russian banking assets, billions that eventually flowed into Bush family coffers.  I had a direct role in this operation and was at the table during every meeting.  One meeting included two Democratic United States senators, who helped “rig” the Senate Banking Committee to back mob owned Cypriot Banks that would handle the “laundry.”

More

The neoconservative movement, which has its roots in the Democratic Party but found a home in the Republican Party under the leadership of Ronald Reagan, is known for its aggressive foreign policy stance and its strong support for Israel. Trump, who ran on a platform of America first, was not a natural fit for this movement, but he was able to garner their support by playing into their fears and prejudices.

However, once in office, Trump’s erratic behavior and impulsive decision-making made him a liability for the neoconservative agenda. He repeatedly undermined US alliances, including with NATO and the European Union, and his cozy relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin raised concerns among neoconservative policymakers about his loyalties.

In addition to his foreign policy missteps, Trump also proved to be a liability domestically. His mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic and his support for far-right extremist groups like the Proud Boys led to widespread condemnation and calls for his removal from office.

The Arrest as a Message

The arrest of Trump should be seen as a message to Israel and the neoconservative movement that their power is not absolute. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to control Trump, and in the end, he became a liability for their agenda.

The fact that Trump was arrested by US authorities, rather than extradited to Israel, also sends a message that the United States is not willing to be a pawn in the geopolitical games of foreign powers. This is a departure from past US policy, where Israel has been given a free hand to pursue its agenda in the Middle East, often at the expense of US interests.

The arrest of Trump also serves as a warning to other political leaders who may be tempted to cozy up to foreign powers or undermine US interests. It sends a message that there are consequences for such behavior, and that those who seek to undermine US democracy will be held accountable.

Lessons from the Past

The lessons of the past have been largely ignored by those in power, both in the United States and abroad. The history of US foreign policy is littered with examples of leaders who were willing to put their own interests ahead of those of the country, often with disastrous consequences.

One such example is the Iran-Contra scandal of the 1980s, where senior officials in the Reagan administration secretly sold arms to Iran in exchange for hostages and used the proceeds to fund Contra rebels in Nicaragua. This was a clear violation of US law and policy, and it led to a major political scandal that tarnished the Reagan presidency.

Money supposedly intended to supply “contras’ was laundered into GOP election coffers.  The 2005 SCOTUS decision Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission would end such efforts as direct cash payments from mobster to politicians, with GOP support, became “the law of the land” in the United States.

Another example is the Iraq War, which was launched in 2003 based on false intelligence that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. The war, which was strongly supported by neoconservative policymakers and the pro-Israel lobby, cost the United States trillions of dollars and led to the deaths of over 4,000 US soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.

These examples serve as a warning that when leaders prioritize their own interests over those of the country, the results can be disastrous. The arrest of Trump should serve as a wake-up call to those who seek to undermine US democracy, and a reminder that there are consequences for such behavior.

Moving Forward

Moving forward, it is important that the United States and its allies recommit themselves to the principles of democracy and the rule of law. This means holding leaders accountable for their actions, regardless of their political affiliation on the lessons of the past and taking steps to prevent future abuses of power.

One way to do this is to strengthen institutions that serve as a check on executive power, such as the judiciary and the media. In recent years, there has been a growing concern about the erosion of democratic norms and the concentration of power in the hands of a few individuals. Strengthening these institutions can help prevent abuses of power and ensure that leaders are held accountable for their actions.

Another way to prevent abuses of power is to promote greater transparency in government. This means ensuring that the public has access to information about government actions and policies, and that there are mechanisms in place to hold officials accountable for any wrongdoing. In recent years, there has been a growing concern about the use of secret government programs and the expansion of executive authority, particularly in the realm of national security. Promoting greater transparency can help prevent abuses of power and ensure that the public is informed about the actions of their leaders.

Finally, it is important to recognize that the United States is not an island. The country’s foreign policy has a direct impact on the rest of the world, and it is important to consider the implications of US actions for other countries and their citizens. This means promoting greater cooperation and understanding between nations, and recognizing that the US cannot act unilaterally without consequences.

With this, the “war within the war” now fought in Ukraine is a battle against a unipolar world dominated by a banking system not “now controlled by” but “invented by” organized crime which has been with us since the dawn of civilization.

Trump in Chains

The arrest of Trump should serve as a wake-up call to those who seek to undermine democracy and the rule of law. It is a reminder that there are consequences for such behavior, and that leaders must be held accountable for their actions. By learning from the lessons of the past and taking steps to prevent abuses of power, the US can help ensure that democracy and the rule of law remain strong and vibrant for generations to come.

Manу, if perhaps most, outside the United States, particularly Russians, who support Trump or feel he is being persecuted, generally get all news from Fox, part of the Zionist controlled Murdoch organization.  Educated Americans tend to shy away from Fox as not just “slanted” but outright lies and disinformation, continually banging on in support of apartheid in Israel or supporting expanded powers for “big business,” the name that no longer applies to a community dominated by organized crime.

It is certainly true that media bias and disinformation are significant challenges facing both the United States and the international community. In recent years, there has been growing concern about the role that media outlets such as Fox News play in spreading disinformation and promoting partisan agendas.

In the case of Fox News, many Americans and international observers have accused the network of being a mouthpiece for the Republican Party and promoting a conservative, pro-business agenda. The network has also been criticized for promoting divisive rhetoric and conspiracy theories, as well as for its coverage of international events such as the conflict in Israel and Palestine.

However, it is important to note that media bias and disinformation are not unique to Fox News or to any one particular media outlet. All media outlets, whether conservative or liberal, have a responsibility to report accurate and unbiased information to their audiences.

Additionally, it is important to recognize that the issue of media bias and disinformation is not limited to the United States. Many countries around the world face similar challenges, and there is a growing need for greater transparency and accountability in media reporting.

Ultimately, it is up to individual citizens to be discerning consumers of news and to seek out sources that are known for their accuracy and objectivity. It is also important for governments and other institutions to promote greater transparency and accountability in media reporting, and to work to combat disinformation and propaganda in all its forms.

To this extent, the horrific quality of reporting on the conflict in Ukraine has made Fox seem less outrageous as platforms like the New York Times, on a daily basis, set new standards for journalistic sleaze.

It is certainly true that media coverage of the conflict in Ukraine has been controversial and often deeply flawed. Both mainstream media outlets and alternative news sources have been accused of bias, disinformation, and outright propaganda.

In particular, some critics have accused major media outlets like the New York Times of bias and sensationalism in their reporting on the conflict. Some have argued that the Times and other mainstream outlets have adopted a pro-Ukrainian and anti-Russian stance, while downplaying or ignoring human rights abuses and other issues on the Ukrainian side.

At the same time, other sources have been accused of promoting a pro-Russian agenda and downplaying or ignoring Ukrainian government abuses and war crimes. This has led to a complex and often confusing media landscape, in which it can be difficult for readers to know which sources to trust and which to dismiss as biased or unreliable.

In light of these challenges, it is more important than ever for readers to be discerning consumers of news, and to seek out sources that are known for their accuracy, objectivity, and ethical standards. This may mean relying on multiple sources and perspectives, and being willing to challenge one’s own assumptions and biases.

Independent news organization like SouthFront, Veterans Today, The Intel Drop, The Duran and others along with military analysis by Doug MacGregor and Scott Ritter are setting a new standard for unbiased reporting.

It is also important for media outlets and journalists to adhere to high standards of journalistic integrity, including accuracy, transparency, and a commitment to the truth. This requires a willingness to engage in critical self-reflection and to be accountable to readers and the wider public.

Ultimately, the quality of media reporting on the conflict in Ukraine, as on any issue, will depend on the willingness of journalists, media outlets, and readers to uphold these principles and to work together to promote a more informed, responsible, and democratic media landscape.
