We, Mongols and friends of Mongolia, strongly condemn Russian state-sponsored fake news about biolabs in Mongolia, allegedly set up by US and German companies. We demand to stop outrageous slanders that Mongolia’s biolabs are creating bioweapons specifically targeting Chinese people, thus impeding Mongolia’s neighborly relations with China. We strongly condemn any attempts to instigate war in Mongolia, and on Asian continent using false pretexts and propaganda. We demand to stop it immediately and to bring to responsibility any government and news agencies, politicians and private citizens spreading it.   

The Western sanctions against Russia, decided unilaterally by Washington, are presented as a just punishment for the aggression against Ukraine. But, without mentioning their illegality under international law, everyone can see that they do not reach their target. In practice, the United States is isolating the West in the hope of maintaining its hegemony over its allies.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - The US Justice Department has declined Sputnik’s request for a comment regarding the London court’s decision to allow WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to be extradited to the United States.

"We decline to comment," the Justice Department said on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, the UK Westminster Magistrate's Court ordered Assange to be extradited to the United States, where he is facing a possible sentence of up to 175 years in prison.

WikiLeaks Editor-in-Chief Kristinn Hrafnsson said the UK court effectively signed Assange’s death sentence. He also said Assange’s fate now is in hands of UK Home Secretary Priti Patel and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

A magistrates court in London has issued a formal order to extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the US to face espionage charges there, and a possible life imprisonment. Wednesday's ruling may be appealed.

The Westminster Magistrates’ Court decision reverses its previous ruling that denied the US extradition to the US based on Assange’s poor mental state and the harsh conditions in American high-security prisons. UK Home Secretary Priti Patel will need to authorize the extradition before it can be executed.

WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Kristinn Hrafnsson said the UK court was issuing a “death sentence” to Assange by passing its decision. He is facing up to 175 years in prison under the espionage charges he faces in the US indictment.
