too young to know...

grow up...

On Monday night's Q&A, the radio presenter appeared to absolve all those aged 28-years-and-under of moral and ethical responsibility as he defended Cardinal George Pell's response to the sexual abuse of children within the Catholic Church.

The shock jock was responding to an audience question which suggested Pell - now one of the highest ranking Vatican officials - should be removed from his post over his lack of action on reports of abuse.

Jones called the discoveries of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse "almost too grotesque to even define" and agreed Pell's choice of words during his evidence to the Royal Commission were "appalling".

But he defended Pell's unresponsiveness to cases of abuse during the cardinal's early career within the church.

"I think there has been a fairly unfortunate focus on Pell in the sense that he was 28 years of age in 1969 when all this happened.

"And there is a presumption in the way in which this has happened that then Pell was the Cardinal and should have done something," Jones said.

It's not only when "Pell was young" that troubles were happening... It's also during the after-burner times when Pell was Bishop, then Cardinal that things like sex abuse were swept under the carpet and priests got moved from parish to parish... And at 28 for crissake! With doctorate in philosophy? Blind?

of feminizm...

In response to her question whether “a powerful woman will [ever] be judged solely on her performance and not subject to gossip and innuendo about who she’s sleeping with”, Jones said he agreed with audience member Nicole Williamson’s sentiments.

“I will say this: it does seem that some people are very uncomfortable with powerful women,” he said. “I’m always surprised that it’s women who are the more uncomfortable.”

He said Credlin was a “formidable woman” with a distinguished track record of political organisation: “Some people don’t like Peta Credlin, but I think she will survive all of this because those who know her know she is a woman of ability.”

Sure... Peta might have been doing the job of three boofy males trying to prop up Turdy... We don't resent Peta for that. We only resent that she propped Turdy the Turd into a position HE SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAD... Tony Abbott was never "electionable" because of his views and goofy mind.

Murdoch's media helped the Peta/Tony duo by never taking on the loopiness of the guy and Peta made sure he stayed on crap populism message like Trump is doing in the USA... The only difference between Trump and Abbott is that Trump is far smarter than Tony Abbott...
