the clacking of the needles...

fudge one

There is a picture doing the round amongst the LNP Queenslanders, denigrating Mr Rudd... So Gus thought of improving the picture as he did above...

Meanwhile there is a misconception in the mind of most of the public that we elect our Prime Ministers the same way as the American Presidents... This confusion of course is firmly cultivated by the cult of personalities presented to us in a bucket by the macMedia...

We, voters, actually elect representatives who choose their leaders as they see fit... This is why Turnbull got shoved by Abbott (helped by his friend Mr Peter Slipper who is now shoved by Abbott) and then Rudd got shoved by Julia who just got shoved by Kev Goodie a few days ago — Kev Goodie being a new-reborn polished Rudd, all spruced up with humility, forgiveness and magnanimity in his heart, of course... Nothing wrong with this...

Annoyed, the macMedia is up in arms because the muffin-boffins had carefully constructed a glorious image of Rudd to show that Julia stank... They had done this in order to promote Tony (Abbott, Mr Negative Minus) to the fore, though he is an "unelectable" idiot... "Mr Negative Minus has to become Mr Positive" the macMedia is now telling us in order to beat Kev in the populous stakes, though the Libs (CONservatives) still have a small advantage on Klean-Kev when it comes to people voting's "choice"...

Voters in this country have been going like flotsam and jetsam pushed by the macMedia wind... But now the wind has gone a bit willy-willy-ish (willy-willies are miniature dry-tornadoes, in the desert of Australia, about ten feet across) and people are going loopy... Predictions are very iffy, like a random game of Krap.So it's time to pause and reflect, deeply...According to Bob Ellis, Labor has seventeen potential Prime Minister in its ranks... Actually it's 16, because Simon-says Crean has announced his retirement since Bob did his calculations... On the other side, the Libs (CONservatives) have only ONE potential PM... Though Abbott may get the gig, he's not a PM's bootlace — he would be more of a bad accident in history... No, the one Lib (CONservative) worthy of the PM potential is Malcolm... But Malcolm has been forced to tarnish himself with a silly NBN concoction designed to suit the internet illiterate Abbott — by Abbott himself, the devious sod... And the Libs (CONservatives) don't really like Malcolm... Hey folks, let's be real here. Most of the Labor boffins don't like Rudd either... So what are you waiting for?... It's a popular contest with voters out there, not with your own navels! Voters don't like Tony. And Tony can try to polish his image as furiously and as long as he wants, they won't like him when Kev's return is like Jesus' second coming. Now, the members of the LNP (a concoction of Liberal and National Party — an ultra-right-wing CONservative outfit) have gone cackling like a bunch of geese about Rudd being a recycled man, as if recycling was bad for you...

Then these liars complain incessantly when people attack "their" Tony, that people are playing the man not the ball... Excuse me... On the policy front, the score is 20 to zero in favour of Labor, though the referee, the macMedia, has been paid off by the Libs (CONservatives) to blow the whistle in favour of the LNP, since the macMedia is OWNED by ultra-right wing rich buggers (Aussie term of endearment)... Level playing field?... Nup. The image at top revised by Gus is more representative of the state of the political scene... Rudd is going gangbusters with the needles, while Abbott can't even spin a yarn... No clue on how to stitch it up...

While Labor has been "forced" by the macMedia to revitalised itself, the Libs (CONservatives) are still the same old idiotic have-beens... imagine the line-up: Hockey who cannot add up, who constantly lies about his involvement in murky conspiracies and tells how he regrets not to have drowned Kev, when he had a chance... AND was the guest of honour at a fund-raising party where NO-ONE saw the menu except the kitchen... The next in line is a fudging Julie Bishop who has shown on many occasion she is a constitutional law illiterate... No idea... Just bile... Mind you she has a gnome killing gaze that would scare herself if she looked in a mirror... The list of CONservatives beyond these two geese is all downhill with the same old tired plods, including Pyne — "sadistic" plods who want to push needles under your fingernails and sack teachers...

they crucified jesus nonetheless...

The landscape of Australian politics has changed dramatically. It is not only Kevin Rudd who now has to change the way he operates. Tony Abbott confronts a similar challenge.
Rudd, of course, was really elected not to govern the country, but to lead an election campaign: at worst to reduce the losses Labor was facing under Julia Gillard, at best to try to pull off an improbable victory - surely the most improbable since Paul Keating's ''sweetest victory of all'' in 1993.
But to win the election, he will have to impress us in governing the country. If Voterland ever cared about his appalling mismanagement in his previous term, it has clearly forgiven him. I suspect it will be less indulgent if insider leaks start telling us of similar problems the second time around.

Abbott now faces a dilemma. Now that he faces a more formidable opponent, on a honeymoon with the voters, does he continue with the sledgehammer negativity that proved so successful in undermining both Rudd and Gillard? Or does he put it behind him, and start explaining to us why he should be prime minister, rather than why Rudd/Gillard/Rudd should not?

Hey, Tim (the writer of this uninspired diatribe above) why don't you start comparing policies rather than blow your macMedia whistle on who should be penalised?... Tim, this is the second coming... This is the beginning of reckoning time! Rudd is the Lord's return... Abbott is Jesus of Caesaria, happy to sell swing bags (see Red dwarf)...

libs (CONservatives) advert offensive to stutterers...

A LIBERAL Party advertisement ridiculing new Kevin Rudd minister Julie Collins is "offensive" to stutterers, a sufferer of the condition has said.

The short video, posted on YouTube, shows Ms Collins stumbling over her words at a press conference and then she is mocked for being "one of the most senior" Labor ministers.

The advertisement has provoked outrage from those who say it's unfair to depict stuttering as a sign for incompetence.

"People who stutter are not less intelligent than people who don't," said Diane Randall, 60, president of NSW stutter support group Speak Easy.

"To imply that is wrong," she said. "You wouldn't think in this enlightened age that people would be doing this."
