Neither Russian nor American authorities say anything about the missile attack on Ukraine's Lviv region that took place on March 9. However, the consequences of this attack can be seen in the evolution of NATO policy.

Reports of the Kinzhal missile attack on a NATO bunker were published on Ukrainian Telegram channels and in a little-known Greek publication. Neither the Russian Ministry of Defense nor the Pentagon has commented on the event.

Lawyers representing Hunter Biden have reportedly set up a meeting with US Department of Justice (DOJ) officials to discuss the status of a criminal investigation into President Joe Biden’s son.

The meeting will take place next week and include a senior DOJ official, as well as US Attorney David Weiss, the Delaware prosecutor who has led the probe on Hunter Biden since 2018, CNN reported on Friday, citing unidentified sources familiar with the matter. Fox News, which confirmed the report, said Biden’s lawyers requested the meeting weeks ago, and it’s unrelated to allegations made this week about the investigation by an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblower.

Donald Trump handpicked the nation’s top military brass while he was in office. Now it’s Joe Biden’s turn.

As many as five members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the eight most senior uniformed leaders who advise the president on military issues, are scheduled to leave their assignments this year. Besides the Joint Chiefs chair, the heads of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and potentially the Air Force are all set to leave. Three of the military’s top operational commanders are changing over as well: The heads of Northern Command, Space Command and Cyber Command.

International news agency Reuters has published an interview with a Ukrainian recruit codenamed “Adolf.”The footage is the latest in a long line of videos, photos, and stories linking Kiev’s forces with Nazi ideology.

In a post to Twitter on Friday, Reuters described how “newly recruited servicemen for the Spartan storm brigade” were practicing at an undisclosed location in Kharkov Region. “A serviceman with the nom-de-guerre ‘Adolf’ said they had been trained in ‘first aid, tactics, [and] firing drills’,” the agency added.

In an accompanying video, ‘Adolf’ spoke to Reuters about the drills. A caption identified him by his apparently Nazi-influenced moniker, a title that was also visible on a patch on his vest.

The Reserve Bank governor, Philip Lowe, has rejected comments by the review panel about the workings of his board, saying the description provided in the final report “didn’t really resonate with me”.

While describing the overall review’s finding as “kind of excellent”, Lowe told a media conference on Thursday that the panel had not sat in the boardroom, and their description of the manner of the board discussions about interest rates was inaccurate.

Recently, some media outlets have quit Twitter over what they see as unjust labeling, which leads to the question – where was their outrage when the same rules were being applied to their competition?

Where was the Western fury when the social media platform was slapping labels of state affiliation or funding on media linked to Russia and China, like RT? Nowhere to be found. How about when the platform was extending that same labeling to individual journalists contributing to those platforms? Again, silent. It’s only now that they can’t object strongly enough. So what changed?

The West, with its decadence, its Democrats and Republicans, still lives in Rome’s savage shadow, where we are always at war with Eastasia and, thus, with ourselves.

Back in 1997 then-Senator Joe Biden bragged about telling off some Russian diplomats who complained about NATO expansion, implying that they might have to turn to China. And so Biden told them “Good luck” and added they might try to befriend Iran too.
