turnbull is front runner for an olympic medal in the turdthrowing event...Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has placed himself in the crosshairs of Australian sport's most bitter feud, in a move that could lead to the ousting of the country's most powerful Olympic official John Coates. The ABC has also unearthed audio of the Prime Minister lavishly praising the woman who is challenging Coates.
trading and swearing about the piggy market...Fall 2016 brought a fundamental change to the United States. Its fastest and largest network—the decentralized network of electronic market exchanges—began to experience its first ever intentional delay. Specifically, a 38-mile coil of fiber-optic cable was embedded into a new exchange network node, which, given the finite speed of light, introduced a systematic 350-µs (microsecond) delay in signal transmission (1). The future impacts this might have at the systems level are unknown...
malcolm's short-term memory syndrome...Rightwing politicians and media commentators had a field day.
truth, justice and liberty the derryn hinch (the human headlice) way...Derryn Hinch has long played the "nice guy" image. He's not nice. He is an opportunistic bastard who is prepared to sell the soul of this country for his pension as a senator. He should be thrown out as soon as possible. The only thing he understood about truth, freedom and justice is ... ratings (TV and radio).
so sorry, kiddies...This planet was demoted by the Intergalactic Council from a natural beauty to a humanoid dump long ago. The problem started a few thousands of years ago when some idiots believed that they had committed a silly crime. The legends goes that there were only two stupid people, the name of whom were Eve and Adam who should have known better.
not a bad bone in his body... a saint.Jesus has died... I mean Bill Leak has died. “Not a bad bone in his body” says one of his friends... The eulogies, the tears and the glorification will soon turn into beatification. I am surprised the Murdoch outfit has not asked the pope for a comment.

Mr Turnbull had drawn criticism for repeatedly deflecting questions on his support for the Fair Work Commission's draft decision, which will see Sunday rates reduced from July.

a turnbull twist in energy supply... now using clean water instead...Senate crossbenchers are questioning whether the Government's plan to expand the Snowy Hydro scheme is feasible and a good use of taxpayers' money. Yesterday, the Prime Minister announced he was prepared to invest $2 billion to expand the capacity of the Snowy scheme to increase electricity production by 50 per cent.

![]() Coal: Part of God’s Divine Plan After 35 years defending his industry, Palmer, a Roman Catholic, remains as literally evangelical about coal as he was in 1997.
a simple explanation...The weather is our saucepan. The climate is our stove. No super computer in their right mind would be able to calculate or predict at any point in time, where the bubbles and convection currents are and will be, though we can see them. The normal setting for the climate and weather combo is simmer. No boil, barely a ripple at the surface. We know the energy lost around the saucepan -- or in the case of the planet, what energy is lost into the blue yonder.
the old 18C changes hidden in a cartoonist's death trick...Bill Leak may have been the poster boy for "free speech" anti-Section 18C nutters, but his death has not heralded the end of racism and bigotry, writes John Passant.
please explain...The ABC has demanded an explanation from Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party after its reporters were blocked from attending election celebrations on Saturday, describing the move as an attack on independent media.
