bubbles with bublé and lopilato or...

Michael Bublé‘s wife, Luisana Lopilato, is slamming claims the singer acted aggressively toward her in a recent Instagram Live.

Fans raised concerns for her safety after Bublé appeared to aggressively nudge her on video.

Speaking in Spanish, Lopilato — with Bublé by her side — addressed followers in a separate Instagram Live. “Thank you for worrying about me,” she noted. “It’s very important that we pay attention to the concerns that were mentioned. Fortunately, I am not suffering.”

The 32-year-old actress then encouraged her followers to keep a watchful eye on potential victims of domestic abuse.

“It is important that we continue to pay attention so that we are able to help the women that are going through a bad time,” she said. “It made me very happy to see the level of awareness my followers have with this topic. I am proud to be Argentinian, and your messages demonstrate to me once again all of the love that you have for me and us. So, thank you, but this is not my case.”

Bublé, 44, and Lopilato have been livestreaming often as they quarantine together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the “Feeling Good” singer came under fire after an Instagram Live posted over the weekend showed him shoving and grabbing his wife after she appeared to interrupt his introduction.

“Hi, guys,” Bublé says in the clip before Lopilato chimes in, “Hi.”

He then nudges her and grabs her arm, to which she responds, “Oh, I’m sorry. Sorry.”

Apart from cleaning the house once more, we have nothing better to do but to watch celebs make an arse of themselves on Twitter, unless we prefer making bets on which way the news bulletins are going to start : "The coronavirus...", "Trump...", "the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison" or "Covid19". We can make secondary bets on what next follows: "Trump made an arse of himself again..." "Scott Morrison is distancing himself from..."... Making bets on the number of infected people worldwide, or in specific countries is allowed, but we shall respect the dead and not bet on their increasing numbers...

Actually, we could watch the sunrise, the sunset on another day while we're in self-detention with our GPS tracking iPhone or ankle bracelet, and/or write our memoirs the end of which isn't very exciting under the present situation.

I saw Xavier Herbert live once (I think I have mentioned this before) reading from his life story. A prolific writer, famous for novel Poor Fellow My Country (1975), after FOUR HOURS of speeching, he was still rabbiting on about his infancy, having reached barely the age of FOUR... One can start reading Poor Fellow My Country and hope to finish it by the end of the pandemic, though with 1464 pages (though some publishers advertise it as 1463) in small print, you have not a chance — as you well know you read a couple of pages a night before falling asleep and the next night you need to refresh yourself with the previous page... Good luck...

more celebs' advice...

In the past, many celebs have shown us what can be done about whatever issue… It’s been a bit of a hit and miss, but Russell Crowe has been very vocal against sexual organ mutilations, has been in favour of weight reducing diets and fighting Rupert Murdoch over Rugby League. As far as I know, I haven’t seen any advice yet from Crowe about surviving isolationing. But it’s likely to come or not. There are very important sites dedicated to show us what can be done with determination to loose weight, with before and after photos… In one of them Carrie Fisher is still shown having lost 50 kilos or such, though she’s been dead since December 2016.

There is a site on the BBC showing what was left opened in regard to essential articles to survive the lockdown. On top of the list is CHOCOLATE… Apparently the only shop open on the Champs Elysées was a chocolate outlet!… Chocolate before toilet paper rolls! Massive!

Next comes GUNS shops. Here we can understand why. The fear of loosing your last toilet paper roll is eased a bit with a magnum or a semi-automatic rifle by your side. Bread shops, Cheese shops, butchers and wine merchants are deemed essential next. Marijuana shops come a close third on the list of essential shit (see Dave Allen). Toys are deemed essential in Australia, so toy-shops are allowed to still trade, because our PM, Scott Morrison, could get a ton of jigsaw puzzles for his kiddies.

In the Philippines, the transport buses and tricycles were essential, until banned. Some governors decided to keep them running only for medical staff, but Duterte vowed to shoot them on sight, though his daughter, mayor of Luzon, is allowed to let them through...

In India, the railway network that never runs on time has been allowed not to run at all… Thus many people have no money, no job and no shelter… This could be a boon for us, old people, who get a call every second day from Mumbai about changing provider for our energy supplies. But behold, the IT technology sector, possibly including the call centres, have been protected. Bugger.

Meanwhile:

Comedian Ricky Gervais lashed out in a new interview at mega-rich celebrities whining about isolation in their multimillion-dollar mansions — while hospital workers and others are risking everything during the coronavirus crisis.

The British funnyman was furious after seeing a series of celebrity meltdowns, which have included Ellen DeGeneres comparing her sprawling mansion to being stuck in jail, and the likes of Kelly Ripa and singer Sam Smith both breaking down in tears.

“After this is over, I never want to hear people moaning about the welfare state again, I never want to hear people moaning about nurses again. Or porters,” the 58-year-old comedian told the Sun.

“These people are doing 14-hour shifts and not complaining. Wearing masks, and being left with sores, after risking their own health and their families’ health selflessly.

“But then I see someone complaining about being in a mansion with a swimming pool. And, you know, honestly, I just don’t want to hear it,” he insisted.

Gervais — who has a well-documented history of attacking self-centered stars — soon tried to laugh off his comments.

“I didn’t go out much anyway, and there’s always too much booze in the house,” he told the UK paper after his tirade, joking that he was “looking at the watch” ready for the “6 p.m. watershed” to start drinking.

Did someone mentioned “DRINK”?
From then on, we’re in the hands of Father Ted

on the project...

Prue Goward appeared to be an idiot (not the first time). She was on The Project tonight promoting the concept of "herd immunity", as if it was something of the past when vaccines were not available, or such. It's an idiotic idea that was NEVER used during the plagues and other pandemic infection, except during the "Spanish flu" epidemic because the authorities in the war offices did not want to spook the population and also prevent their soldiers from refusing to go to be killed in the trenches... Result: about 50 million dead people from the flu, three times more than during WW1...

During the plagues, even in the middle ages, THEY PRACTICED ISOLATION AND QUARANTINE of the infected people. Herd immunity led to massive numbers of chooks getting infected and having to be slaughtered in the millions... same with pigs. So, stay clear of people and make sure they are clear from the disease. Mind you we all could live in little bubbles... (see: celebs save the world...) Selective isolation could be implemented in an orderly civilisation, but when was the last time you saw the Australian public being orderly?

On another subject, someone less than Gustaphianical could have been distracted by Julia Baird's outfit which looked like a bright TV test pattern on the ABC's Drum, unless it was a Mondrian test pattern for Sports Rorts... Beyond this Sammy J's three minute skit was as best as ever...

narcissism outbreak of the celebs...

A bevy of housebound celebrities have turned a global calamity into a stage-5 narcissism outbreak, in which they compulsively spew their mindless thoughts and feelings upon the rest of us.

Coronavirus is a terrible malady that is killing people and the global economy, but it isn’t the most pernicious pandemic afflicting the globe right now. No, the most diabolical disease currently in circulation is the dreaded Celebrivirus.

The onset of the Celebrivirus starts with a steady stream of verbal diarrhea gushing forth from empty-headed, self-absorbed, attention-starved celebrities, which is quickly followed by convulsive puking and rage headaches from the rest of us.

The most recent outbreak of Celebrivirus began with a plethora of Covid-19-related videos from a cavalcade of self-aggrandizing stars.

For instance, Matthew McConaughey thought that now was a good time to espouse his incoherent optimism regarding coronavirus.

The Typhoid Mary of Celebrivirus, Madonna, rose from the grave that is her moribund career so that she could, in the nude of course, benevolently inform us that Covid-19 has, in fact, made us all equal.

do as we say not as we did...

Several celebrities from the world of music or cinema, along with twenty Nobel Prize winners, signed a short column in Le Monde against "consumerism", which some people, given the quality of the signatories, found inappropriate. An impressive array of stars and scientists joined the call “No to a return to normal”, published on May 6 in Le Monde.

Initiated by Oscar-winning actress Juliette Binoche and environmental scholar Aurélien Barrau, the text was signed, among others, Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Robert De Niro, Marion Cotillard, and by Marianne Faithfull but also a large number of scientists and twenty Nobel Prize winners.

"The current ecological disaster is part of a "meta-crisis : the massive extinction of life on Earth," said the text. "Consumerism has led us to deny life in itself: that of plants, that of animals and that of a large number of humans. Pollution, global warming and the destruction of natural spaces are leading the world to a breaking point,”we read further. "For these reasons, combined with the ever-increasing social inequalities, it seems to us unthinkable to" return to normal"", plead the signatories, for whom this is a "question of survival". But this call for change demanded by these public figures did not fail to cringe, in particular because of the banality of the published text, which does not include any details on the modality of the change requested.

Ashamed of nothing! "15 lines of commonplaces and postures, by a group of privileged people" mocked the journalist Eugénie Bastié on Twitter.

15 lines of common places and postures, by a group of privileged people. The world below only aspires to a return to normalcy and to permanence, but the bohemian dream of revolutions ... My wish for the world after: - from petitions by Juliette Binoche. https://www.lemonde.fr/idees/article/2020/05/06/

The doctor and entrepreneur Laurent Alexandre presents himself on his Twitter account as an anti-"collapsologist" [person who theorizes the collapse of society]. And an anti-Greta Thunberg also reacted. "These nice sores suggest that we go back to 1850 ... These [belly-full] intellectuals do not realize that the working classes want to consume," he said.

Columnist Charles Consigny has also stepped up to the plate: "Millionaires who spend their lives on planes and each consume like a dozen people explain to you that we must 'change our lifestyles and consumption'. Ashamed of nothing!”, He wrote on the social network. At the same time and on the pages of the same newspaper, the former Minister of Ecology Nicolas Hulot split a list of 100 proposals for "a new world". The former journalist and globetrotter intends to "repair the planet" and proposes to "relocate entire sections of the economy" or even "to hear the youth".

Strangely enough, this might go against the "creators" of this coronavirus panic... Time will tell.

wake up motherfuckers!...

Madonna has declared gun control the “new vaccination”, arguing that regulation would save lives.

The singer shared a video of herself erecting fly-posters featuring messages including “Wake up America” and “Gun control now”.

The Instagram clip showed Madonna wearing a Pussy Riot-style blue balaclava while shouting “wake up motherfuckers!” and demanding somebody hand her the glue. It was soundtracked by her 2019 song God Control, which is about mass shootings.

The video was captioned: “There’s a new Vaccination! It’s called GUN CONTROL! Should be mandatory. It will SAVE lives!”

Madonna urged fans to “join us next week”. She directed them to the campaign group Everytown For Gun Safety, which describes itself as “a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities”.

Her intervention comes after 13-year-old Adam Toledo was shot dead by police in Chicago after appearing to drop a handgun and raise his hands, and Daunte Wright, 20, was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop.

In a separate post, in which she poses in front of the posters, she wrote: “Adam Toledo was 13 years old, Daunte Wright was 20.

“The officers who killed them are only being charged with manslaughter. This is insanity. Horrific. And yet it has become normalised in our society. Yes – people kill people, not guns. But the vast majority of people are not enlightened and guns are too easy to own.

“If they were outlawed then no one would feel the need to own a gun to protect themselves from those who have guns. As for police killing innocent children: shooting and suffocating and brutalising innocent people ... They should go immediately to jail for the rest of there [sic] lives. No trial, no corrupt justice system.”

The trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is under way over the death of George Floyd, who was unarmed when he died after the officer kept a knee on his neck for nine minutes.

Last year Madonna was censured by Instagram after sharing a video which claimed a vaccine for Covid-19 had already been found, but was being hidden to “let the rich get richer”.

Instagram blurred out the video with a caption saying: “False Information”.

The video was later deleted from Madonna’s Instagram page, but not before fans protested at her decision to share the post.

Among them was the pop star Annie Lennox, who commented: “This is utter madness!!! I can’t believe that you are endorsing this dangerous quackery.”
