Mariah Carey and James Packer’s prenup negotiations for a wedding that never happened were so outrageous that things became hostile, and her team accused his business managers of treating her like a “gold digger.”

The superstar was allegedly first offered $1 million a year for each full year of marriage by Packer exec Robert Rankin, but her managers flatly refused, saying, “Mariah earns that in 45 minutes for a private performance. This is insulting!”

Packer’s team followed up with terms on e-mail that included: Carey would get $6 million per year (or $151,385 per week) up to a maximum of $30 million. The document also stipulated Carey would get a credit card, but it could only be used for living and staff expenses, not clothes, and could not exceed a certain amount each year. There would be no joint accounts, and Carey and her kids would not inherit any money from Packer.

Apparently all Mariah Carey ever really wants for Christmas is some time out in Aspen, which is where the singer heads for the silly season year after year.

The always economical 46-year-old popped over to the Colorado ski resort town again this year, opting for a low-key Airbnb.

Can someone please find out where the real Mariah Carey is for us? The songbird diva was on hand for NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center special on Dec. 3, where she performed her classic yuletide hit, “All I Want for Christmas”.  While belting out her song, Carey missed the majority of the high notes she is most famous for hitting. To say Carey’s performance was disappointing would be an understatement.  Just what is the reason for Mimi missing out on those octaves she’s legendary for?

According to TMZ, Carey was so preoccupied on the phone talking to her attorney surrounding her divorce to Nick Cannon, she came to the taping at Rockefeller Center on Dec. 2, 3 HOURS LATE! Once she arrived, the big wigs over at NBC along with crewmembers and fans of Carey’s were not amused by her tremendous tardiness resulting in her being home. While Mariah still wanted to perform and not let her fans down, who were left waiting in the freezing rain for her to finally show up, NBC didn’t budge and scrapped the taping. A day later, the peacock network had a change of heart and allowed her to be a part of the lineup.

Carey apologized to her lambs (fans) on Twitter for the drama and tried to clear up the situation.

Diva Mariah Carey is claiming her disastrous New Year’s Eve performance was an intentional set-up by the gig’s producers to raise ratings, according to a report.

The singer’s team even sent in a written complaint Sunday to Dick Clark Productions that the sound and microphone systems she was given to use were deliberately sabotaged “so they could get Mariah drama,” TMZ said.

Carey, 46, was hyped as the main attraction of “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve 2017,” but ended up having a meltdown on stage when she was unable to hear her vocal track.

She ditched her bad lip syncing by the time she got to her second song, “We Belong Together” and stood on stage, looking disgusted.

At 2 p.m., the singer wrote on Twitter: “S–t happens. Have a happy and healthy new year everybody! Here’s to making more headlines in 2017.”

But within a few hours, the singer’s handlers began laying the blame elsewhere and told TMZ Carey had been given “inner ear” pieces that did not work

Mariah Carey has sold the ­35-carat diamond engagement ring James Packer gave her two years ago.

The huge sparkler, widely reported to be worth $10 million, was part of the financial settlement the diva made in 2017 after her split from the Australian media baron.

“Mariah has been very vocal recently about her choice to move forward in her life surrounded by positivity,” her publicist told me. “That requires leaving emotional and material baggage behind, including an old engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.”

A source said Carey had one of her business managers quietly sell the ring for $2.1 million to a Los Angeles jeweler.

“A confidentiality agreement was signed, but the jeweler is currently selling it, and there’s only one such ring,” my source said. “Mariah Carey’s public relations people are desperately trying to keep the story from the press, and have threatened the jeweler with litigation if he discloses her name.”
