the battle of minds...

dummy spit

team work...

Palmer United Party leader Clive Palmer has accused Glenn Lazarus of "spitting the dummy" and said he should resign from politics, after the Queensland senator announced his resignation from the party.

The senator's decision means the Upper House crossbench is entirely fractured, with eight senators sitting as independents.

Senator Lazarus announced his departure from PUP overnight on his website and Facebook page, saying he had a "different view of team work".

It came just hours after his wife, Tess Lazarus, was sacked from her job at the party's headquarters.

a brick much smarter than peter...

From Peter Reith

Glenn Lazarus is the senator who said of the government's education reforms: "You can polish a turd for as long as you want, but it will always be a turd." No wonder the standing of the Senate is at a low point. Just when the country needs a Senate that can fairly judge the big issues facing Australia, the Senate voting system delivers people such as Lazarus.

Not every Senator is articulate and not everyone has tertiary qualifications and, in many ways, that's a good thing – as long as politicians do their best and show some respect for the Parliament and the people they represent. Unfortunately, there have been several cases where Lazarus barely meets the minimum standard.

I would say that Lazarus is far far far more savvy than Peter Reith. Not hard really... Peter Reith always reeks of rancour about something, possibly a subconscious negative attitude towards himself... If my memory is correct, Peter Reith never met the minimum standard for a politician — despite staying there as long as he could until he was sidelined by his boss who gave him a cushy job overseas for Peter to get out the limelight... Peter Reith was the one politician who gave his parliamentary phone to his son who ran a $50,000 bill... Peter Reith is one of chief liars in the Tampa affair and was one of the instigators of wharf wars with dogs and scab labour from South Africa... Not very clever, though somewhat deceptive.

Lazarus can smell turd when he sees one. He does not hesitate to tell it like it is. Peter Reith wraps the turd as a present, hoping no-one would notice. YES PETER, it's quite amazing to have people "like" Lazarus in the senate... YES PETER, Lazarus is a novice, but he has far far less political-deception than your ever have had. Lazarus can see that what Pyne has on offer is crap. And so Lazarus should oppose the deal made by Labor and the Libs (CONservatives) on "metadata"...

Labor is full of its own boots... If the Labor boffins can't see that "protection of journalists sources" is a trick designed to make them swallow a bad CONservative bill, then the Labor idiots are idiots... There is basically no way "to protect journalists" in the proviso of the collection and storage of data from say a whitsleblower... Not a chance... The journalist may not be exposed, but the system would make sure the whistleblower is not "protected" too well... Thus eventually journalists would become tainted and viewed as hostile in the government's books — even if the government keep quiet on the exposure, the journalist would be at a greater risk of not being "trusted" by the politicians of that colour...

Reith is in love with the crap that Turdy is concocting...
