These a only a few random example of the biblical madness in our invention of god. Most of the narrative in these disgusting "sacred" texts were to suit times of invasions and counter-invasions...
Of course many scholars and theologians have poured over them and "interpreted" the meanings of this crap to suit a modern sanitised evangelisation. The Koran also has many similarity in these texts, Islam — often being described as "the daughter of Christianity and Judaism". Never stop fighting each other ever since. Though before Christianity, the Jews used to fight anyone with a god that was not theirs... and pinch their gold in the process... Nothing new.

This morning, La Devine blesses the troops on the way to their next crusade... "Godspeed" is the word she uses... It always puzzle me that the more religiously rabid people are — like La Devine — the eager they are to go and send troops to kick arses that they don't like "because they threaten our way of life"... and they do "unspeakable things" (like the Israelites did before Christ and the Christians used to do, after the fourth century — from Constantine onwards).

I say, give the woman a gun, a bit of training at the Malabar riffle range and send her to Syria. Of course the words of God in the ten commandments count for nothing. "You shall not kill" does not have any caveats, but Christians always find one under a Deuteronomical rock page 17, item 4.7, paragraph 29.

Having to follow the strong broad rule of "turn the other cheek", Christians always choose "let's go and kill someone" under the name of god... God has broad shoulders. Tony Abbott is the same (as Devine, not god, obviously, though one could think he thinks he is god). Tony is deranged in the pigeon loft. We all are, I suppose, idiotic. But I tend to think a bit more about what I do, because what I do is out of my own bat, not that under a banner of "crusade" or being a godly marauder. One has to know that it was Bush Dubya who actually sounded the final retreat after having sounded "mission accomplished". 

But I digress, Yes Piers Ackerman, tells us that all the ills of the world, and especially Australia, are due to the lefties... One certain Malcolm Fraser may have a different view. I think. He still regret the day he let the Lebanese so-called Mafia in this country, that led to the rise of people like Eddie-you-know-who. And as I clearly explained on this site, Mr Downer, father of Alex-in-tights, was happy to let people of different cultures in for their cooking skills. Unfortunately, "freedom of religion" came with the sauces and it is a bastard thingy to deal with. Minarets started to appear everywhere.  Nothing to do with Labor. Schools in NSW will be given funding for chaplains but not qualified secular youth workers after the federal government refused to budge from its decision to pay only for religious chaplains.

The national school chaplaincy program will be rolled out across the country next year after all the states and territories agreed on Friday to implement it, despite a push from NSW Education Minister Adrian Piccoli for youth workers to be included in the funding package.

Seriously? This despicable sophistry undermines everything the “MeToo” movement is meant to be about.

It shouldn’t need to be said but in a world with so many moral compasses gone awry, it seems necessary to point out that when a member of Congress has a sexual relationship with a staffer, particularly one who is a decade younger and fresh out of college, that is an abuse of power.
