a war of aggression - a crime against humanity .....

‘On 19 March 2003 President Bush Jnr commenced his criminal war against Iraq by ordering a so-called decapitation strike against the President of Iraq in violation of a 48-hour ultimatum he had given publicly to the Iraqi President and his sons to leave the country.

This duplicitous behaviour violated the customary international laws of war set forth in the 1907 Hague Convention on the Opening of Hostilities to which the United States is still a contracting party, as evidenced by paragraphs 20, 21, 22, and 23 of U.S. Army Field Manual 27-10 (1956).

Furthermore, President Bush Jnr's attempt to assassinate the President of Iraq was an international crime in its own right. Of course the Bush Jr. administration's war of aggression against Iraq constituted a Crime against Peace as defined by the Nuremberg Charter (1945), the Nuremberg Judgment (1946), and the Nuremberg Principles (1950) as well as by paragraph 498 of U.S. Army Field Manual 27-10 (1956).

Next came the Pentagon's military strategy of inflicting "shock and awe" upon the city of Baghdad. To the contrary, article 6(b) of the 1945 Nuremberg Charter defined the term "War crimes" to include: ". . . wanton destruction of cities, towns or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity. . ."

The Bush Jnr administration's infliction of "shock and awe" upon Baghdad and its inhabitants constituted the wanton destruction of that city, and it was certainly not justified by "military necessity," which is always defined by and includes the laws of war.

Such terror bombings of cities have been criminal behaviour under international law since before the Second World War: Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Dresden, London, Guernica-Fallujah.’

US As Belligerent Occupant

the real face of evil .....

‘The neocons, with their corporate handlers and their equally complicit counterparts, the neoliberals, are in fact a shadow government that runs America. They have names like Bush, Cheney, Perle, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Rice, Kristol, Dulles, Kennedy and Rockefeller; Lockheed Martin, Halliburton, General Electric, Unocal, Shell Oil and Boeing. Democracy, freedom, liberty, organized labor, peace, and social justice are their avowed enemies. Their crooked, talonous fingers dig deep into the profits of war, while simultaneously clutching the broken spines of the moldering corpses they produce. They are the grim reapers of unrepentant capitalism run amok.

George Bush got his anxiously awaited war on Iraq. Halliburton, Bechtel, and other corporations are raking in billions. It is easy money for the war profiteers who risk nothing and gain everything. It is our tax money that is subsidizing their obscene profits. Layers of our civil liberties were quietly repealed. It is our sons and daughters who die for the likes of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Halliburton and Bechtel. They are America’s shadow government - the unseen hands pulling the strings of atrocity.

Someone has to tell our children what they are dying for.

This is George Bush’s noble cause.’

Terrorists In High Places

yet another call to impeach blair .....

‘A leading British Army officer believes Prime Minister Tony Blair should be impeached for his role in the war in Iraq, the Mail on Sunday reported.

General Sir Michael Rose, a former UN commander in Bosnia, was quoted by the right-of-centre Mail on Sunday as saying: “I think the politicians should be held to account ... my view is that Blair should be impeached.”

“That would prevent the politicians treating quite so carelessly the subject of taking a country into war,” he added. A high-profile resignation of a senior armed forces officer before the start of the March 2003 conflict may also have made the British government think twice before sending troops to the Gulf, he added. “I would not have gone to war on such flimsy grounds,” he stated.’

Top Army Man Wants Blair Impeached

a presidency built on lies & deception .....

‘President Bush and Vice President Cheney have publicly stated that the top-secret domestic spying program Bush authorized in 2002 could have thwarted the 9/11 attacks had the controversial, and possibly illegal, measure been in effect prior to the terrorist strike on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Bush's and Cheney's comments have gone virtually unchallenged by reporters covering the spying story and by a majority of Democratic lawmakers critical of the issue.

However, the reality is much different from what Bush and Cheney would have you believe. The fact of the matter is that the Bush administration ignored hard evidence from its top intelligence officials between April and September of 2001 about an impending attack by al-Qaeda on US soil.

There's no chance that the National Security Agency's domestic wiretapping initiative would have saved the lives of 3,000 American citizens if an intelligence memo titled "Bin Laden determined to attack inside US" that President Bush received a month before 9/11 couldn't move Bush to take such threats seriously.’

Bush Ignored 9/11 Warnings

only war criminals .....

‘It was a historic moment at the National Press Club in
Washington, only blocks from the White House. On February 2, the preliminary
findings of the International Commission on Crimes Against Humanity were read
out by Ajamu Sankofa, executive director of the Physicians for Social
Responsibility-NY and former national secretary of Blacks for Reparations in
America.

Listening to the verdicts, Ray
McGovern, a former CIA analyst and founder of Veteran Intelligence
Professionals for Sanity, exclaimed: "This is what
our German forbearers in the 1930s did NOT do
. They sat around, blamed
their rulers, said 'maybe everything's going to be alright.'... That is something
we cannot do. Because I don't want my grandchildren asking me years from now,
'why didn't you do something to stop all this?'"’

Guilty!
Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!
