Get longer prescription lengths: Many prescription drugs plans will have a cheaper overall price if you get a 90 day supply instead of a 30 day supply. If your Doctor is willing to write a 90 day prescription, then it maybe beneficial to go this route. Check your cost and co-pays to see. A word of caution though is to make sure that the drug does not have a shelf life that is shorter than the prescription length you get. Why save money on medicine if it can not be used because it’s too old.
