FOX & friends and the naked emperor.....
Incoming White House press secretary Katie Zacharia pledged to get to work immediately when she takes over the podium Monday, defending President Donald Trump's recent diesel deal as a move she says will help lower gas and grocery prices. Speaking on "Fox & Friends Weekend," Zacharia said Trump is using a "multifaceted" approach to tackle inflation while balancing U.S. interests overseas.

"President Trump has heard people have been frustrated with the gas prices. People are frustrated with the increasing grocery prices. And he is delivering what he always does, which are solutions," Zacharia said Saturday. "President Donald Trump has never been unambiguous. He is an America-first president. He is putting [American interests] first, American citizens first with this deal. And we will have cheaper gas, cheaper groceries with this diesel deal." The president announced Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to "immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter." TRUMP TELLS ZELENSKYY TO STOP DOING 'ONE THING' DURING ATTACKS ON RUSSIA Diesel prices have remained high as conflicts involving Iran and Ukraine continue, with rising fuel costs emerging as an issue ahead of November's midterm elections. Zacharia suggested that the diesel deal could also help advance peace efforts between Ukraine and Russia. "He did it with Venezuela, and he did it with — he's doing it with Canada and did it in Greenland. So, I think we're [going to] see some historic wins, and President Trump is [going to] deliver that," she said.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RRHTJ2R4-M Jimmy examines Donald Trump’s renewed calls for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to leave office, and questions why Trump blames Ukraine’s leadership for prolonging the war while continuing U.S. support for Kyiv. He also features a video from former U.S. intelligence official Scott Ritter, who alleges that Trump’s earlier policies—including supplying weapons to Ukraine and expanding CIA operations near Russia—contradict his current claims that he wants peace. The discussion broadens into disputed interpretations of the war’s origins, with Jimmy and his producer Mischa Paullin arguing that NATO expansion, the 2014 change of government in Ukraine, fighting in the Donbas, and the failure of the Minsk agreements contributed to the conflict; they also claim a potential peace agreement was derailed by Western pressure, particularly from then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The segment concludes by portraying U.S. and European policy toward Russia as inconsistent and arguing that continued military support has prolonged the war, while presenting the view that negotiations and changes in leadership could offer a different path.

A bipartisan group of 12 US senators has urged President Donald Trump to abandon a diesel deal with Russia, arguing that it would betray Ukraine while doing little to curb surging energy prices. The decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel exports, announced on October 9, reportedly blindsided Ukraine and America’s European allies, reigniting Trump’s public feud with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. In a letter sent on Tuesday, the senators argued that “granting Moscow the ability to sell Russian diesel freely in global markets damages American security interests and is a betrayal of the people of Ukraine.” They further claimed that the move would have “a negligible impact on fuel prices,” while the proceeds would allow Russia to fund its military operations in Ukraine and “advance its security cooperation with China, Iran, and North Korea.” “It will also endanger servicemembers operating overseas in support of Operation Epic Fury,” the senators wrote, referring to the US war with Iran. They urged Trump to impose additional sanctions on Russia and its trading partners under legislation named after the late Senator Lindsey Graham, a vocal Russia hawk, which the president signed into law last month. The letter was signed by Senators Richard Blumenthal, Thom Tillis, Jeanne Shaheen, Susan Collins, Dick Durbin, Alan Armstrong, Sheldon Whitehouse, Lisa Murkowski, Jack Reed, Chris Coons, Mitch McConnell, and John Cornyn. Trump has defended the agreement with Russia as beneficial to American consumers. “I made the right choice for the American People – ALWAYS, AMERICA FIRST!” he wrote on Truth Social on Monday. According to Axios, Trump decided to strike a deal with Moscow after Zelensky rejected “half a dozen” US requests to stop attacking Russian oil refineries, which Trump blamed for rising gas prices. Trump further suggested that it was “time for Ukraine to get a new president” after Zelensky criticized him for easing sanctions on Russia. Zelensky’s five-year presidential term expired in May 2024, but he has not called new elections, citing martial law imposed following the escalation of the conflict with Russia. Trump also pointed out that the EU has continued to import Russian energy despite pledging to phase out supplies from Moscow. The bloc has spent more than $320 billion on Russian energy since 2022, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak said earlier this month. https://rt-english.com/news/647164-trump-betrayed-ukraine-diesel/

Trump suggests Russia and Ukraine did not agree to his ‘energy ceasefire’ before he announced it
US President Donald Trump expressed irritation with Russia and Ukraine a day after he announced a so-called “energy ceasefire,” which appeared to take both countries by surprise.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Kyiv supported the surprise ceasefire announcement but did not know about it in advance, and Moscow declined to say whether it backs the proposal.
“Effective immediately, there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. Do not break it!” Trump said on social media Sunday morning.
But on Monday evening, Trump appeared to suggest there was no buy-in from either party prior to his announcement.
“Well, they agreed. You know why? Because I said, ‘You agreed.’ That’s why,” he told reporters as he left the White House for a rally in Youngstown, Ohio.
Trump later added that he believes “they both support” a ceasefire and that “they want to make a deal, but they don’t know how.” He also said he thinks Putin is ready to make a deal to end the war, but expressed doubts that Zelensky was ready to do so.
CNN has reached out to the White House for information on how the agreement was reached and what the next steps may be.
Zelensky said on Monday that Russia had already violated the surprise energy ceasefire proposal.
