satura tota nostra est....
"Between us, you've never been able to properly execute a good punch-up..." THIS ILLUSTRATION FROM "L'ASSIETTE AU BEURRE" [1904] IS DESCRIBING WHAT WE UNFORTUNATELY STILL FACE IN 2026... The New South Wales premier, Chris Minns, has defended the actions of police at a rally against Isaac Herzog’s visit, after video footage emerged showing officers repeatedly punching a number of protesters. The premier on Tuesday rejected suggestions his own anti-protest restrictions had created what he deemed to be an “impossible situation” for police dealing with thousands of protesters outside Sydney’s Town Hall. Rally organisers, Labor backbenchers and Green MPs accused Minns and police of creating an “unsafe situation” for attendees. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2026/feb/10/
WE ALREADY HAVE MENTIONED "L'ASSIETTE AU BEURRE" — A FRENCH SATIRICAL MAGAZINE (C. 1900s). ONE OF ITS MAIN CARTOONISTS, ILLUSTRATOR WAS A FELLOW CALLED KUPKA... Frantisek Kupka [Czech Abstract Painter, 1871-1957]František Kupka (also known as Frank Kupka or François Kupka;[1] 23 September 1871 – 24 June 1957) was a Czechpainter and illustrator who moved from realism to abstract art, pioneering Orphism.[2][3][4] František Kupka was born in Opočno (eastern Bohemia) in Austria-Hungary (now in the Czech Republic) on 23 September 1871. From 1889 to 1892, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. At this time, he painted historical and patriotic themes. Kupka enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where he concentrated on symbolic and allegorical subjects. He was influenced by the painter and social reformer Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach (1851–1913) and his naturistic life-style. Kupka exhibited at the Kunstverein, Vienna, in 1894. His involvement with theosophy and Eastern philosophy dates from this period. By spring 1894, Kupka had settled in Paris; there he attended the Académie Julian briefly and then studied with Jean-Pierre Laurens at the École des Beaux-Arts.[3][5] Kupka worked as an illustrator of books and posters and, during his early years in Paris, became known for his satirical drawings for newspapers and magazines. In 1906, he settled in Puteaux, a suburb of Paris, and the same year exhibited for the first time at the Salon d'Automne. In 1907 he published his self-portrait The Yellow Scale, believed to be his masterpiece. Kupka was deeply impressed by the first Futurist Manifesto, published in 1909 in Le Figaro.

THE ILLUSTRATION OF COPS ABOVE IS BY Gustave henri Jossot [1866-1951] Anarchist, misanthropic and solitary, Gustave didn't belong to any political party. He was known as a press cartoonist and illustrator between 1894 and 1901. He also designed advertising posters. He withdrew from public life very early and went to Tunisia, where he converted to Islam. Later, he returned to his initial ideology. He has since fallen into obscurity. His drawings are of exceptional quality. He was one of the pillars of the magazine L'Assiette au Beurre. He illustrated 18 complete issues and contributed to 17 others.

Another satirist for "L'ASSIETTE AU BEURRE" was Benjamin Rabier When you were a child, you secretly read your grandmother's comic books. Your summer camp memories are filled with cheese slices: foil and Laughing Cow... You discovered infinity from earring to earring... You went under the oceans in pursuit of the whale on the salt cellar... Your favorite duck is named Gideon... You can't look at a rabbit without laughing... You wonder what animals say to each other when you turn your back on them...
RABIER WAS FAMOUS, THOUGH MOSTLY UNKNOWN AROUND THE WORLD, FOR ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC LOGO/IMAGE IN THE WORLD:
SATIRE... Satire is a protean term. Together with its derivatives, it is one of the most heavily worked literary designations and one of the most imprecise. The great English lexicographer Samuel Johnson defined satire as “a poem in which wickedness or folly is censured,” and more elaborate definitions are rarely more satisfactory. No strict definition can encompass the complexity of a word that signifies, on one hand, a kind of literature—as when one speaks of the satires of the Roman poet Horace or calls the American novelist Nathanael West’s A Cool Million a satire—and, on the other, a mocking spirit or tone that manifests itself in many literary genres but can also enter into almost any kind of human communication. Wherever wit is employed to expose something foolish or vicious to criticism, there satire exists, whether it be in song or sermon, in painting or political debate, on television or in the movies. In this sense satire is everywhere. ... Elizabethan writers, anxious to follow Classical models but misled by a false etymology, believed that satyre derived from the Greek satyr play: satyrs being notoriously rude, unmannerly creatures, it seemed to follow that the word satyre should indicate something harsh, coarse, rough. The English author Joseph Hall wrote: The Satyre should be like the Porcupine,That shoots sharpe quils out in each angry line, And wounds the blushing cheeke, and fiery eye, Of him that heares, and readeth guiltily. (Virgidemiarum, V, 3, 1–4) The false etymology that derives satire from satyrs was finally exposed in the 17th century by the Classical scholar Isaac Casaubon, but the old tradition has aesthetic if not etymological appropriateness and has remained strong. ...... By their practice, the great Roman poets Horace and Juvenal set indelibly the lineaments of the genre known as the formal verse satire and, in so doing, exerted pervasive, if often indirect, influence on all subsequent literary satire. ..... SEE ALSO: Theosophy is a religious movement established in the United States in the late 19th century. Founded primarily by the Russian Helena Blavatsky and based largely on her writings, it draws heavily from both older European philosophies such as Neoplatonism and Indian religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism. Although many adherents maintain that Theosophy is not a religion, it is variously categorized by religious scholars as both a new religious movement and a form of occultism from within Western esotericism.

totalocracy....
The USA is already a Totalitarian State with a Ministry of Propaganda that works overtime to generate a flimsy illusion of “democracy.”
(Article by Charles Hugh Smith from thedailysheeple.com)
Is your “democracy” (or republic) actually a Totalitarian State? That is, is it a “democracy” or “republic” in name only? To find out, take this quick quiz.
1. Does your government (federal, state and local) seize citizens’ assets without due process? In other words, the rule of law is dead; the state is the law. If the answer is yes, Your “democracy” is already a Totalitarian State. The answer in the USA is a definitive “yes.”
2. Does your government impose tyranny by complexity? If so, the average citizen lacks the wealth and connections needed to fight the seizure of private property without due process or recourse.
In the USA, the answer is “yes,” the government is a tyranny by complexity.
3. Is your government essentially “for sale” to wealthy elites? If the answer is yes, Your “democracy” is already a Totalitarian State–or more accurately, a fascist Totalitarian State.
4. Does your government spy on its entire citizenry? If the answer is yes, Your “Democracy” is already a Totalitarian State. The answer in the USA is a definitive “yes.”
Well, you have your answer: the USA is already a Totalitarian State with a Ministry of Propaganda that works overtime to generate a flimsy illusion of “democracy.” Please read the following links if you seek documentation of these systemic abuses of centralized power.
Orwell and Kafka Do America: How the Government Steals Your Money–“Legally,” Of Course (March 24, 2015)
Government in the USA is expropriating the private property of its citizenry without due process on a vast scale. I have provided documentation of this extraordinary reality many times over the years.
The various levels of government have a variety of “legal” (haha) means to steal your property without due process or recourse: civil forfeiture, absurdly expensive traffic fines that lead to jail sentences in the local debtors prison-gulag, forfeiture of assets, including land, should government agents find the marijuana plants they planted on your property (surprise!), the state steals your money in a bank account and notifies you after the fact that the state suspects you owe it taxes, though they have zero evidence of that claim–and on and on.
