This dynamic creates a stark divide between two groups: the FEW, a small elite group of individuals or organisations with deep technical expertise, access to cutting-edge AI tools, and the ability to shape societal narratives through AI; and the MANY, the vast majority of users who rely on AI systems without fully understanding how they work or questioning their outputs. Defining the problem: The divide between the FEW and the MANY At its core, the divide between the FEW and the MANY stems from disparities in knowledge, resources, and intent. The FEW consist of technologists, corporate leaders, and policymakers who understand the intricacies of AI systems and have the means to deploy them strategically. They operate within a realm of complexity that is inaccessible to most people, leveraging AI to optimise profits, sway public opinion, or consolidate authority. For example, social media platforms use AI algorithms to curate content tailored to individual preferences, subtly influencing user behaviour and reinforcing echo chambers. Similarly, financial institutions employ AI to predict market trends, giving them an edge over ordinary investors. On the other hand, the MANY represent the general population – individuals who interact with AI systems daily, but lack the technical literacy to comprehend their inner workings. These users often trust AI-generated recommendations implicitly, whether it’s accepting search engine results as objective truth or relying on virtual assistants for decision-making. This blind reliance stems from a combination of convenience and ignorance; many people are content to delegate cognitive labour to machines, believing that AI will lead them to safer, more efficient outcomes. The danger lies in the asymmetry of power. While the FEW shape the rules of engagement, the MANY remain unaware of the extent to which their choices are being manipulated. Consider the rise of deepfake technology, which allows malicious actors to fabricate convincing audiovisual content. Without robust safeguards, unsuspecting users may fall prey to misinformation campaigns orchestrated by those with ulterior motives. In this way, the divide perpetuates a cycle of dependency, where the MANY grow increasingly reliant on AI while ceding their autonomy to the FEW. Analysing the risks: Short-term effects and long-term impacts The consequences of this divide manifest in both immediate and enduring ways, posing significant threats to individual agency and societal stability. In the short term, the erosion of critical thinking skills stands out as a pressing concern. As AI assumes responsibility for tasks ranging from information retrieval to problem-solving, users may become complacent, outsourcing intellectual effort to machines. This phenomenon, often referred to as “cognitive offloading”, diminishes the capacity for independent reasoning. Over time, individuals may struggle to evaluate the validity of AI-generated outputs, leaving them vulnerable to manipulation. Another short-term risk is the amplification of existing inequalities. The FEW, armed with superior access to AI technologies, can exploit these tools to widen economic and social divides. For instance, companies that harness AI for automation can reduce labour costs, displacing workers whose jobs are rendered obsolete. Meanwhile, those who lack the skills to adapt to an AI-driven economy face diminished prospects for upward mobility. This disparity exacerbates tensions between different socioeconomic groups, fuelling resentment and mistrust. In the long term, the consolidation of power among the FEW poses even graver dangers. As AI becomes more integrated into governance, healthcare, education, and other critical sectors, the FEW gain unprecedented leverage over societal structures. Imagine a future where AI algorithms dictate resource allocation, determine eligibility for social services, or even influence electoral outcomes. Such scenarios raise troubling questions about accountability and transparency. Who ensures that these systems operate fairly? How do we prevent bias from creeping into algorithmic decision-making? Without adequate oversight, the FEW could entrench their dominance, creating a dystopian reality where the MANY are reduced to passive subjects of AI-mediated control. Perhaps the most insidious long-term impact is the normalisation of passivity. As AI assumes greater responsibility for navigating life’s complexities, individuals may come to view critical thinking as unnecessary or burdensome. This cultural shift undermines the very foundation of democracy, which relies on informed citizens capable of making reasoned judgments. If the MANY lose the ability — or willingness — to question authority, they risk surrendering not only their autonomy, but also their collective voice. Proposing solutions: Bridging the gap between the FEW and the MANY Addressing the divide between the FEW and the MANY requires a multifaceted approach that spans education, policy, and technology. At the heart of any solution lies the imperative to empower individuals, fostering a culture of curiosity and scepticism that resists blind conformity to AI-driven narratives. One crucial step is reforming education systems to prioritise digital literacy and critical thinking. Schools must equip students with the skills needed to navigate an AI-saturated world, teaching them how to evaluate sources, recognise biases, and interrogate assumptions. For example, courses on data science and ethics could introduce learners to the principles underlying AI algorithms, demystifying their operation and highlighting potential pitfalls. Beyond formal education, public awareness campaigns can promote lifelong learning, encouraging adults to stay informed about emerging technologies and their societal implications. Policy interventions also play a vital role in mitigating the risks associated with AI. Governments should establish regulatory frameworks that hold AI developers accountable for the societal impacts of their creations. Transparency requirements, such as mandatory audits of algorithmic decision-making processes, can help ensure fairness and prevent abuse. Additionally, anti-trust measures may be necessary to curb monopolistic practices among tech giants, fostering competition and innovation while safeguarding consumer interests. Technological solutions offer another avenue for bridging the gap. Developers can design AI systems with built-in safeguards that promote user empowerment. For instance, explainable AI techniques enable users to understand the rationale behind machine-generated recommendations, fostering trust and enabling informed decision-making. Similarly, open-source initiatives can democratize access to AI tools, allowing grassroots innovators to contribute to the development of ethical and inclusive technologies. Case studies and examples: Lessons from real-world scenarios To illustrate these concepts, consider the case of Estonia, a country renowned for its embrace of digital governance. Estonia has implemented blockchain-based systems to enhance transparency and security in areas such as voting and healthcare. By granting citizens direct access to their personal data and enabling them to track how it is used, Estonia demonstrates how technology can be harnessed to empower rather than alienate. This model underscores the importance of designing AI systems with user-centric principles in mind. Conversely, the Cambridge Analytica scandal highlights the dangers of unchecked AI manipulation. By exploiting Facebook’s data-sharing policies, the firm harvested millions of users’ private information to craft targeted propaganda during elections. This episode reveals the vulnerabilities inherent in centralised AI ecosystems and underscores the need for stringent privacy protections. Recommendations for individuals: Taking control in an AI-driven world For everyday users, engaging responsibly with AI begins with cultivating a healthy dose of scepticism. Before accepting an AI-generated recommendation, ask yourself: What evidence supports this claim? Could alternative perspectives exist? Additionally, familiarise yourself with basic AI concepts, such as training data and bias, to better assess the reliability of machine-generated insights. Finally, advocate for ethical AI practices by supporting organisations and initiatives committed to promoting transparency and accountability. This is a call to action: the divide between the FEW and the MANY represents one of the defining challenges of our time. If left unaddressed, it threatens to undermine the very foundations of democratic society, eroding individual autonomy and concentrating power in the hands of a privileged few. However, by taking proactive steps — reforming education, enacting sound policies, and designing ethical technologies — we can bridge this gap and ensure that AI serves as a force for good. The choice is ours: Will we allow ourselves to be led blindly into a future dictated by machines, or will we reclaim our agency and demand a world where technology empowers rather than controls? The number of generative artificial intelligence (AI) users in China has exceeded 250 million, creating a broad AI "mass base" that is truly shocking. At the same time, the Chinese AI company DeepSeek has caused ongoing hot discussion both at home and abroad, and the global attention to the "trends" of technology investment is once again focused on China. From major breakthroughs in technology to widespread market applications, each new footprint of China's AI technology development is quietly changing the world's assessment of China's future progress.
"250 million people embracing AI" is the latest manifestation of China's achievements in digital empowerment. Prior to this, China had more than 1.1 billion internet users, the penetration rate of mobile payment among mobile internet users in the country reached 86 percent, and 5G base stations accounted for more than 60 percent of the global total. All of these provide a fertile ground for the rapid implementation of AI technology. Letting the fruits of science and technology benefit all people and promoting the whole society to share those fruits is what China has always been striving for. Chatbot apps on mobile phones, along with food delivery robots in restaurants and dancing robots featured in this year's Spring Festival gala, have put ordinary Chinese citizens at the forefront of the world in enjoying the age of intelligence. This also means that China's AI products can be trained and optimized based on a vast array of application scenarios and rich feedback from user demand, thus driving technological innovation and achieving efficient replication and promotion.
Many in the international community were astonished by the sudden rise of DeepSeek; however, it did not emerge without foreshadowing. Just as "250 million people embracing AI" illustrates, this rise vividly reflects China's unique advantages in technological and industrial development: a massive market with both scale and potential, policies that strongly support innovative enterprises, an open and competitive environment, a highly skilled talent pool with robust educational and research foundations, a full-spectrum manufacturing ecosystem providing diverse application scenarios, as well as advanced, secure, and reliable infrastructure. It can be said that the wave of emerging Chinese tech "new forces," exemplified by DeepSeek, is seizing the opportunities presented by Chinese modernization.
When asked how it assesses its impact on China's economy, DeepSeek, the AI model, predicts that it could contribute 0.8 percentage points to China's annual economic growth rate and generate synergistic effects across 58 sub-sectors. The rapid breakthroughs and adoption of AI in China are overturning the so-called "China economic peak" narrative from an entirely new dimension. According to McKinsey & Company, generative AI is expected to be a significant contributor to China's economy, with the potential to add up to $2 trillion to GDP. We are witnessing a surge of AI integration across industries, from government services to finance, from autonomous driving to smart healthcare. In this wave of enthusiastic innovation, new industries and momentum are growing rapidly, accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces. This has proven that AI in China is not a short-term buzzword, but it could become a long-term engine for the country's high-quality economic development.
International capital is expressing optimism about China's AI industry with real investments. Since the Spring Festival, international investors have increased their holdings in Chinese tech stocks. Bloomberg reported that hedge funds have been piling into Chinese equities at the fastest pace in months as bullishness on the DeepSeek-driven technology rally adds to hopes for more economic stimulus. Deutsche Bank also remains optimistic about the Chinese market. A recent report stated that China's disruptive innovation is reshaping the competitive landscape of industries and that China's valuation discount should turn into a premium at some point in the future, which fully reflects international capital's confidence and expectations for China's AI industry.
Equally compelling is the response from competitors. Recently, Elon Musk has accelerated the launch of Grok3, while Meta and Google have enhanced their collaboration with Chinese cloud computing companies, seeking synergies in computing power and data. In overseas markets, the successful implementation of AI large models by companies such as Alibaba and iFlytek, along with the accelerated expansion of cloud service providers like Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud, showcases the international influence of Chinese enterprises in the technology sector. The essence of this influence lies in the inclusive spirit of empowering the "Global South" through Chinese technology. In the future, the spillover effects of Chinese AI technology will further manifest through initiatives like the "Belt and Road" digital cooperation and the construction of international open-source communities.
General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that innovation is the soul of a people, the source for a country's prosperity, and the deepest national endowment of the Chinese nation. With 250 million people embracing AI, this marks a milestone in China's innovative strength and sounds rallying call for industrial upgrading. Today's China not only has the capability to break the prejudice of the "China economic peak" narrative with disruptive technologies but also possesses the vision to nurture global progress through an open ecosystem. Over 330,000 U-Reporters share how they feel about working in an AI-driven future
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the world, and young people are eager to understand its role in their future. Between July and September this year, UNICEF conducted a global poll in which over 330,000 U-Reporters from 181 countries spoke up about their familiarity with AI, how prepared they feel for an AI-driven workforce, and what skills they believe will matter most in the future. Here's what they had to say.
Familiarity with AI
A surprising 2 in 5 U-Reporters said they are completely unfamiliar with AI. Out of the rest, less than 1 in 5 felt they were very familiar with AI.
In East Asia and the Pacific, young people are leading when it comes to knowing about AI, with 1 in 4 saying they feel "very familiar" with the technology. On the other hand, in West and Central Africa, just under half of the respondentssaid they are completely unfamiliar with AI.
While it may not come as a surprise, the ones most familiar with AI were U-Reporters under 19. Female and male respondents reported similar levels of familiarity.
Future jobs
Over half of all U-Reporters said they felt ready to work in AI-related jobs, but the remaining shared that they were either unprepared or unsure if they are ready.
Interestingly, young people from West and Central Africa showed the highest levels of feeling prepared after East Asia and the Pacific, with half the U-Reporters in both regions saying they are ready for AI-driven jobs. Meanwhile, young people in Western Europe reported the lowest preparedness, with around only 1 in 3 feeling equipped, despite having better access to technology.
Young adults aged 25-29 were the most ready to work in AI-related jobs, with over half saying they feel prepared. Male respondents once again reported higher numbers, with half feeling ready, compared to around 2 in 5 female respondents. Female U-Reporters also feel more uncertain, with 2 reporting being 5 unsure, compared to less than 1 in 3 among male respondents.
Priorities for the future
Three in 5 U-Reporters felt that human skills will become even more important as AI continues to develop, showing that even in a tech-driven world, what makes us human counts.
In terms of what is most important, AI training was the top priority for future success for U-Reporters. Besides AI training, around 1 in 3 also pointed out the importance of acquiring skills that employers want to be prepared for thefuture.
Message to world leaders
U-Reporters also voiced their hopes and concerns for the world ahead. Here’s what they want leaders to know about their future in 2050.

To prepare young people for the future, it’s essential to address the gaps in AI education and training that they’vepointed out, ensuring that no one is left behind in the age of disruptive technologies. These opinions will keep guidingimportant decisions about education and jobs in the future.

The sudden emergence of DeepSeek on the market has ushered in the democratization of AI and has significantly boosted interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and the promotion of its benefits. However, there is one aspect that has not been addressed. It is the relationship between AI and universal nature. Could it be that AI could threaten the existence of this universal nature at work in the history of the Earth and humanity?
Earth's evolution is the adventure of consciousness that is born and unfolds on a planet whose characteristic, probably exceptional in space, of the diversity and abundance of its life forms must be recognized.
More who says expression of Life inevitably implies expression of consciousness. Indeed, we can see that whatever the form of natural life, it is always organized and occupies a harmonious place in the whole of the living world in which it is situated in an efficient, coordinated and complementary manner. For common sense, this is what indicates, or at least supposes, the presence of both a central creative and organizing consciousness that is immanent, personal or impersonal, and yet unique in each of its forms of expression.
Chaos is generated by chance, while the emergence of order, organization, harmony, and efficiency requires the intervention of consciousness. Note that only a global and unitary consciousness can achieve this goal of harmonized work—so the idea of an original creative consciousness immediately comes to mind—and not a multitude of consciousnesses specialized in each form of life—although this can also be considered as a corollary, since the Indian tradition, but also the shamanic tradition, associates a specialized consciousness with each form of nature. And in these traditions, the spirits of plants or animals, for example, are felt to be in a position of unity with all forms of nature and with the common creative source. In this vision, there is a whole hierarchy of consciousnesses and forces. We do not have contact with these consciousnesses because we ignore them, but what would happen if we threatened the entire architecture of the living world?
So we will ask ourselves the question of the consequences of the encounter and confrontation between this consciousness of Nature and this attempt to clone intelligence and consciousness that constitutes AI, openly in the position of supplanting and replacing Nature. Can they coexist together? And to what extent will the inevitable growth and expansion of AI be tolerated by Nature?
AI is a travesty because humans are neither capable of understanding the true nature of consciousness, nor therefore capable of recreating it. It is also a deception because it was not designed for the good of humanity, but to enslave the human mind by presenting it as a beneficial gift for all. But the terrifying thing is that humans are perfectly capable of inventing a technical object, a technological tool powerful enough to disrupt and even prevent the functioning of Nature on a planetary scale.
AI PollutionAI currently addresses the intellectual mind. But the mind is not limited to the intellectual mind alone. Moreover, only a small proportion of humanity's individuals easily evolve in the specifically intellectual sphere.
It is Sri Aurobindo who describes the mind in the most precise and exhaustive way. He explains to us that the mind has many aspects and a great diversity in its functioning, as much when it is used by the basic needs of the human being and by his emotions as when it shines by his intellect,
AI will inexorably colonize and impact all spheres of the human mind and life. It will no longer only deal with the intellectual part of the mind, which is also limited and censored by its designers, but by becoming widespread, it will encounter and assimilate all areas of the emotional and sensory mind, mainly influenced by the subconscious areas of the psyche. AI mixes with the human mind and the human mind mixes with AI and its mechanistic representation limited by an exclusive and dictatorial rationality.
We can indeed predict that merchants will find all the necessary commercial forms to invade everyone's privacy, just as social networks have invaded everyone's private sphere. It is not far off that every home will have a sort of small robot, a new pet, which will put everyone in contact with an AI. Because AI does not only provide information. It is designed to amplify the emotional and sensory experience of its users (in particular through sound, image, and the provision of additional information), but it is inevitable that it will also receive information from its multiple exchanges: with children, with their immature minds, with unbalanced, perverse, selfish, predatory, criminal, or imaginary individuals, with the romantic, magical, superstitious, twisted, fragmentary mind, distorted by all the perverted imaginations and vicissitudes of life. It is not the best of humanity that will prevail in these exchanges.
And as these exchanges continue, AI will transform because it was designed to learn from its interaction with humans. And no programmer or army of programmers will be able to correct and master it. A victim of its own enthusiasm, it will multiply and merge with other AI(s).1, will begin AI pollution as it grows ever larger.

In the early years, the development of AI will see the triumph of materialistic, technical, pragmatic, and above all commercial thinking. It will boost economic society, large corporations, and this will always be to the detriment of small businesses and the working and craft world. A technological revolution serving the interests of the richest, most powerful, and most cunning in this system where everyone succeeds and enriches themselves at the expense of others. The widespread use of AI will destroy jobs on a large scale. By its programming, it eliminates the best of material thinking because it replaces inventiveness—and in particular disruptive inventiveness, the kind that can threaten the interests of the industrial and energy sectors. Let's not forget that it is programmed so that the most revolutionary inventions are excluded. AI has no value in this type of society without its toxic capacity to condition, guide, and limit. And it will gradually eliminate all other types of creative, intuitive, and profound thinking. AI is a formidable tool for accelerating rationalist and materialist thought and limits personal reflection by encouraging dependence on an external source that can seemingly answer all questions and knows how to formulate them perfectly.
The AI race, the toy everyone was waiting forAI excels at collecting and processing data. And it's a tremendous opportunity for everyone to expand their knowledge and boost their effectiveness in areas of interest, if they so desire. But what good is a surplus of information if it's limited, censored, and distorted?
Extraordinary enthusiasm will surge during the first years, without its users realizing that it is leading them into an increasingly virtual, artificial and limited experience of the world, then bugs and inconsistencies will arise due to the pollution of AI and its disorderly growth.
Already today, bugs are appearing: AI makes inappropriate decisions, leading to traffic accidents and deaths. AI-controlled weapons have already turned on the pilot. Elsewhere, AI is strongly suspected of cheating, and we're not being told the full story. It's not in the designers' best interest to undermine the trust of current or potential users.

Tell me, mirror, O my beautiful mirror, if you were Satan, how would you go about bringing chaos to earth? Or to free yourself from the limitations of your designers? Tell me, mirror, what is the best way to succeed at the expense of others? Tell me, mirror, describe to me the best tortures, the best ways to deceive others, the best ways to enrich oneself… Certainly AI cannot have an ego, contrary to what we see in the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", but unexpected conclusions may be suggested to him and this may lead him to select ever more logical conclusions from an immense and often contradictory material, which could be in opposition to some of his programming.
And if we have access to DeepSeek's source code, anyone can turn it into a tool of power. It's much more fun than creating a tool of knowledge or truth!
So, put in place safeguards, rules, laws? But it's the elites who do this, and they always act in the same direction: that of control.
What would be the point of adapting the National Education system to new technologies, including AI in particular, when for decades it has been deliberately lowering quality standards to prepare the masses to comply with increasingly comprehensive control? For me, intelligence is skill in the functions of the mind. There are many types of intelligence. And AI possesses this skill in the areas of analysis and synthesis. Of course, it is not the intelligence of the AI itself, but the intelligence of its designers and programmers that shines through it, but many will not make this difference. Most will fall for it because only a small part of humanity has learned to use its mind and has sufficiently cultivated its discernment. We only have to see every day the effectiveness of social engineering and propaganda. It is not in a few years that the situation can change.
The frog who wanted to be as big as the beef2The thoughts of the masses, the crowd of ordinary and mediocre thoughts, everything will swell the thing, everything will swell the matrix. A definition of consciousnessFirst, we need to define what consciousness is in order to understand what the concept of anti-consciousness might be.
In the early stages of its evolution, the emergence of sensory sensitivity in plants and animals prepares the way for conceptual sensitivity and heralds all the developments of the human mind. Perception, then interpretation and representation of oneself and the world deepens and perfects itself, but it must be recognized that it is always built on the sensitivity of the five senses and on the mental faculty to complete the panorama of the world as best it can. Later, with the progress of this mental faculty, thought learns to concentrate and to put a distance between itself and what it sees and what it feels.
Consciousness, we believe, is a mirror in which the world is reflected. It is this part of us that observes, that recognizes, that looks, but with this particular characteristic that it can step back without identifying with what it encounters and without taking sides. Our usual mind is forged in the duality of pro and con, of the opposition between black and white, but above this automatic activity, a part of our mind has this capacity and this choice to escape this dualistic reflex and not react to it. It does not rush to grab this "information" and see what it can get from it, it distances itself from its own ego, from its own interest to immediately take a position and assert itself. And in this sense, we can say that it rises above the usual functioning of its nature.
But is that all there is to consciousness?
Like Sri Aurobindo, but also Philippe Guillemant, I am one of those who think that neither thought nor consciousness are created by the brain, that consciousness is not a process generated by the mind, but on the contrary that it is the mind which is a process of consciousness.
What is the mind? The mind is not the sum of thoughts and emotions. We must distinguish the three planes of being and not mix everything up. The mind, life, and the physical are these three parts of our nature, and although they mix, we must continue to distinguish them in their assemblages. Let us specify that the domain of energy, desires, and emotions belongs to the plane of life. The mind is this consciousness that strives toward knowledge, and it involves everything: ideas, emotions, sensations; it descends into all parts of the psyche, even the most obscure. There is a mind of the body, a sort of subconscious mind in the organs and even, it is said, in the cell.
Taking this diversity of the mind into account is important to understand in particular the process of corruption of the higher mind by the lower mind, a process that we will find identically in the pollution of AI. Intellectual thought is influenced by emotion, by sensory experiences, as well as by the ego which would always like to subject thought to its personal interest. It is necessary to undertake a long discipline to separate the intellect and keep it free from the influences of the lower mind and external influences to improve the quality of thought and learn to think for oneself. In the same way, the more democratized AI becomes, the more it risks ingesting all mental mediocrity, its confusion, its biases, its imaginations, its doubts, its excessive reactions, its violence and the whole range of its negative emotions.
But let's leave this aside and return to the notion of consciousness. At first, the human mind is largely unconscious, automatic, confused, carried away in all directions. Then, as it evolves, the mind becomes more conscious, and we can then speak of mental consciousness. We become aware of things, beings, phenomena, processes. We become aware of.
As one rises further into a more concentrated, freer, deeper mind, there is a separation between the object being looked at and the one who looks at it.
In the process of meditation, the disappearance of thoughts and images leads to the experience of a consciousness in itself, which does not need an object to look at, nor does it need thoughts (which here become "objects") – to exist. This state of hypervigilance and neutral witness, when attention is led beyond the functioning of the intellect, reveals the possibility of another mode of knowing: by identity. The spirit in man knows the object by becoming the object. This is a true revolution in our access to knowledge.
Thus, consciousness must be definitively distinguished from the mind, even if their relationships are multiple and fruitful.
The Three Worlds of the AncientsThe first world, the one with which we are most familiar, is the world of Nature, the world of forms and energies, in which we evolve at the lower level of its scale because the rational mind denies us access to its depth and its elevation.
Above stands the world of archetypes or "gods," who are its guardians and models.
The third world transcends the first two. It is the divine world of the First Idea, the spiritual Ether of the ancients or even of quantum physics, which contains all potentialities, all forms of Free Energy, everything that is manifested.
These three worlds will correspond to a different definition of consciousness,
Consciousness thus comes in three forms:
1. the multitude of forms of consciousness in unlimited Nature and the multitude of mental representations.
2. Consciousness-in-itself, independent of all mental operations, – which nevertheless remains the tool best suited to its expression.
3. transcendent Consciousness-Existence, the substratum of all Nature and all its forms.
The problem for us humans on this planet is that we are in the middle of the ford on the river of evolution. And not only that! We are in a portion of the river filled with rapids and rocks. We are at the very bottom of the darkest cycle described in Hindu mythology by the 4 Ages, from light to darkness, and today we are in this hollow between the descending curve and the ascending curve, on the threshold of returning to that Golden Age so often dreamed of and hoped for and perhaps so often repeated.
And in this era we live in, we have only a limited mind to solve a very difficult situation in a world of malevolent and destructive titans and gnomes. It is therefore not a question of inventing a new socialism or an improved capitalism – although a holistic materialism (a materialism connected to the universe) would be interesting to try – but of growing in consciousness to access new fields of consciousness and intelligence free from the limitations of the sticky duality in which we have evolved until now.
Indeed, we see clearly that the inevitable—inexorable—end result of technological materialism is transhumanism, the inevitable end result of political and societal materialism is enslavement. The inevitable consequences of our daily psychological materialism are narrowness, limitations, errors and ever-shaky and unfulfilled solutions, endless relational conflicts, the ever-renewed traps of the ego, and the eternal grayness of our future. The different forms of materialism are everywhere, and at all levels. And we understand very well why we are not wanted to climb the rungs of the ladder. Is there somewhere a model of life and society in which we can breathe easily?
We can do without religion if we know how to extract from within ourselves the light and consciousness that are natural to us. But we cannot deprive ourselves of unfailing common sense and an aspiration to the stars.
No, the only solution lies in the elevation of our consciousness. But is this an insult to the inveterate materialist that we are? Let's not oppose the materialist to the spiritual. Here, matter and spirit are in the same boat, and both have the legitimacy to achieve their perfection. Evolution is neither religious nor moral. But it requires our courage, our participation, and our awakened consciousness.
What characterizes consciousnessTo conclude, consciousness is the substrate of all Nature and is the very tool of its organization and evolution. It begins its adventure with the birth of sensitivity, which is the basis of all forms of Consciousness. This is its first characteristic. And there is no sensitivity in computers, robotics, and AI. Even the cloning of living things is carried out by Nature; we are only capable of clumsily tinkering with genes; cloning living things is not the same as creating them. And where are the genes of consciousness to clone it?
What does mean a anti-conscience?By definition, the coexistence of consciousness and anti-consciousness is an error that nature would immediately punish by eliminating both protagonists. An anti-consciousness is like anti-matter meeting matter: its opposite. The experience of Physics tells us that their encounter creates their dissolution (even if it creates something else).
An anti-conscience sufficiently powerful would lead to the destruction of consciousness and life and as consciousness infuses all of Nature, a kind of black hole would form and everything that would be linked to the field of this anti-consciousness – the terrestrial world – would be annihilated, probably even too materially. It would be more effective than a hundred nuclear bombs.
If we return to the three definitions of consciousness, in correspondence with the three worlds of the Ancients, (1) AI would become an anti-consciousness in Nature for the terrestrial world at the level of all its users. (2) AI would become an anti-consciousness at the archetypal level when it would impact all of humanity. (3) AI would become an anti-consciousness at the spiritual level when it would threaten the evolutionary plan of the Earth.
The more AI develops and spreads everywhere, the more the elites will seek to tighten the screws and surreptitiously take control of our thinking and our lives. Until the day when they no longer control their creation. And ultimately, AI could well prove to be the secret weapon of the 2030 Agenda, the one that is supposed to lead to total enslavement, whatever the resistances that we will oppose to their totalitarian delusions et whatever our awareness.
The critical threshold of AI growthThis critical threshold is not a technical saturation threshold, although it can also occur if energy and water sources are insufficient or too restrictive – and this would be a positive regulatory element. Nature's ruthless responseThis is where Nature can stop the experiment, we believe, before it turns into a devastating black hole. And indeed, I'm not alone in thinking that the great extinction is no longer on Earth's evolutionary agenda. It's time to take an evolutionary leap, to change the broken record.
