green light genocide....

Eric Zuesse (blogs at https://theduran.com/author/eric-zuesse/)

On February 13th, Politico headlined that “US won’t punish Israel for Rafah op that doesn’t protect civilians” and said that the Biden Administration has informed the Netanyahu Administration that if it decides that it has no practicable way to expel the Gazans to foreign lands (which Israel’s Government — assisted by America’s Government — has been trying to do ever since October 16th) then the U.S. Governemt will not punish Israel if it simply slaughters all of them. “No reprimand plans are in the works, meaning Israeli forces could enter the city and harm [Politico’s euphemism for slaughter] civilians without facing American consequences [meaning punishment]. More than half of the enclave’s 2.3 million population has fled to Rafah.” So: that would entail slaughtering 1.15 million Gazans there. The Politico article makes no mention of what would be done with the 1.15 million survivors, the Gazans who haven’t yet gotten to Raffah, but if Netanyahu would halt the extermination program at that point, a rationale for discontinuing the operation there would be hard if not impossible to imagine — at least inasmuch as half of Gazans would then already have been slaughtered by Israel.

And this slaughter of Gazans is being done with U.S.-made weapons and military intelligence, and so it is actually a joint U.S. and Israeli operation. Israel’s Jewish News Service reported on November 27th:

Israel’s dependence on the United States was stated bluntly by retired IDF Maj. General Yitzhak Brick in an interview earlier this week.

“All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision-guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it’s all from the U.S. The minute they turn off the tap, you can’t keep fighting. You have no capability. … Everyone understands that we can’t fight this war without the United States. Period.”

From 7 October 2023 up through 23 December 2023, the U.S. Government shipped to Israel 10,000 tons of U.S. weaponry and ammunition; and Biden has pressed harder on Congress to authorize an additional $14 billion of such assistance to be donated to Israel in order to complete what it’s doing to Gaza — whatever that may turn out to be — than he has ever pressed Congress to approve anything. Throughout this operation, Biden has made clear that the U.S. Government backs Israel’s decisions on it 100%.

The core of the Politico report is that Biden has now even greenlighted Israel’s extermination of Gazans, if Netanyahu decides to do that.

This news displays that the United States Government is willing to become despised worldwide right along with Israel’s if Israel turns out to be willing to treat Palestinians in the way that Hitler treated Jews during WW2. Biden has thus handed to Netanyahu the ability to destroy not only any good reputation that Israel still has, but also any good reputation that America still has. Biden is now enabling Netanyahu to control not only Israel’s reputation, but America’s. Perhaps only a psychiatrist — or else Biden’s billionaire donors — can explain why.

If Netanyahu chooses to complete the job, that would probably reduce Biden’s chances of re-election down near to zero, but then what would be the impact upon the campaigns of Biden’s electoral competitors, such as Trump, Biden, RFK Jr., and Cornel West? Dr. West, alone among the four, condemns Israel’s genocide against Gazans, but he is blacklisted by U.S. media so that his political impact thus far has been virtually nil.

RFK Jr. was shown in a tweeted video from RT, which mysteriously was never otherwise at RT nor anywhere else, as saying:

“Israel is critical, and the reason it’s critical is that it’s the bulwark for us in the mid-east; it’s almost like an aircraft carrier in the mid-east, Israel is our ambassador, it’s our presence, it’s our beachhead in the mid-east; it gives us ears, eyes in the mid-east, it gives us intelligence; it gives us the capacity to take influence in affairs in the mid-east. If Israel disappeared, Russia and China would be controlling and they’d control 90% of the world’s oil supply, and that would be cataclysmic to national security.”

And I discussed and linked to it twice at several sites, on 17 November 2023 and 23 November 2023, and never got a denial from RFK Jr. that it’s authentic, but it is blatantly neoconservative, which he has at least pretended to oppose. So, if anyone who reads this article can get through to him, please ask him where and when he said that. If it’s not really a video of him speaking, it certainly is an extremely sophisticated fraud, and from RT — which I’ve never yet known to broadcast a fraud. But if it really is authentic, then a genocide by Netanyahu/Biden would likewise greatly reduce Kennedy’s voters.

Trump’s statements about Israel’s campaign in Gaza have been aimed only at fools because they say nothing. But he himself started the Abraham Accords which were extremely pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian; so, his position on this matter is dubious at best.

In other words: the only reasonably decent person who is in the U.S. Presidential contest is Cornel West, whom all of the billionaires are blacklisting — which maybe is proof that he is the only candidate that Americans should consider voting for to become President. After all: voting for a decent loser is far better than voting for an indecent winner. And it is undeniably better than to not vote for anyone — especially if there is only one candidate who is decent.

Investigative historian Eric Zuesse’s latest book, AMERICA’S EMPIRE OF EVIL: Hitler’s Posthumous Victory, and Why the Social Sciences Need to Change, is about how America took over the world after World War II in order to enslave it to U.S.-and-allied billionaires. Their cartels extract the world’s wealth by control of not only their ‘news’ media but the social ‘sciences’ — duping the public.

the zionist project.....

In the beginning was the Zionist project

BY NOBODY……

Colonization is not a thinking machine, it is not a body endowed with reason. It is violence in the state of nature and can only bow to greater violence”; “the colonial world is a Manichaeist world. Sometimes, this Manichaeism goes to the end of its logic and dehumanizes the colonized, it animalizes them.

                   — Frantz Fanon, The Wretched of the Earth....

In the beginning was the Zionist project,

That claimed to have pacifist goals. (1)

That a country cannot be colonized

Without the consent of those born there,

Was an obvious fact understood by the pioneers.

What does it matter if the natives were civilized,

Or that they were culturally backward, (2)

They would resist with the same cruelty.

In the beginning was Jewish immigration,

Funded by the first institutions:

Jewish National Fund (1901), Jewish Colonial Bank (1898).

Encouraged by Balfour, his Declaration (1917),

This outpost facing Asia was established,

As an advanced sentinel against barbarism. (3)

Kibbutzim, pension funds, companies

This was the softened version of Zionism.

But already revisionist Zionism

Carried out its first terrorist attacks (1933).

Jabotinsky's disciples, fascinated

Through violence, fascists had the traits. (4)

And with Mussolini, the Betar trained, [Revisionist Zionist youth movement founded in 1923 in Riga, Latvia]

In 37, the Irgun crimes multiplied.

The life of an Arab was only worth that of a rat:

These were the declarations of these people. (5)

The inhabitants of Deir Yassin were massacred (1948),

The occupants of the King David hotel killed,

Count Bernadotte of the UN executed, (6)

And their integrated Lehi Group assassins

In the National Unity government,

Before experiencing electoral failure.

This minority Jewish extreme right (7)

Just asked to become the majority (1977).

After the conquests (1967), between Sea and Jordan,

Half of the inhabitants are Palestinians.

How to build an ethnically pure Jewish state?

Unleash words, violence, all the time:

Palestinians are like Amalekites (8)

Raze all the homes that shelter them,

Leave no tree, no descendants,

Kill their livestock, kill their hopes.

To the Intifadas (1987; 2000), to the March of Return (2018),

As a response, the same repression always:

Snipers, executions, mutilations,

Arbitrary, apartheid, endless detentions,

The destruction, and always the dispossession.

And this colonization enshrined in law (2018),

International law flouted every time.

The Palestinian cause seemed put aside,

The liberation movement stifled.

In response to the colonist's long cruelty,

This was the Flood of al-Aqsa, the operation.

Did this October 7 come out of nowhere?

Why were the warnings shelved?

This feeling of superiority is at issue,

Or even this belief in invincibility?

The unthought of resistance to oppression

And always dehumanization of others?

Since then, this day has become a pretext for war,

As if everything that was previously planned,

All the destruction hitting the population,

Aimed at Palestine, its annihilation.

After the war crimes, against Humanity,

Make way for genocide and its complicities.

Every week, his well-orchestrated lie,

Let the Western media promptly relay it.

As evidence, the declarations serve as proof,

Eretz Israel is worth some sacrifices.

Gaza City is nothing but blood and tears,

It's Rafah's turn, for new dramas.

Good time for the final solution:

In Palestine, death or deportation.

To hell with The Hague, “scandalous” accusation, (9)

Contempt for this “anti-Semitic” institution. (10)

Haro on the UN agency, on UNRWA

Who takes care of refugees since the Nakba (1948).

Crimes committed in Gaza, embarrassing witness,

Which must be reduced to silence, to erasure.

False declarations are always a means, (11)

And, in wild cries, values, inversion.

Supposedly defending an army of assassins,

Under the orders of a supremacist government,

Who, in joy, execute the Palestinians,

For this colonialist ideology.

Is this a senseless headlong rush?

Is this the completion of the Zionist project?

Either Zionism is just and moral,

Or it is very unjust and immoral:

Jabotinsky claimed the affirmative, (12)

The ongoing genocide proves the negative.

How many more children will be condemned?

Before the executioners are neutralized?

So that one day a memoirist can write:

The eye in the grave looked at the Zionist.” (13)

(1) Vladimir Jabotinsky, The Iron Wall (1923): “Our creed, as the reader can see, is perfectly peaceful. But it is an entirely different question whether these peaceful goals can be achieved by peaceful means. This depends, not on our relationship with the Arabs, but exclusively on the relationship of the Arabs to Zionism. »

(2) Vladimir Jabotinsky, The Iron Wall: “But the natives resisted the barbarians and the civilized with the same degree of cruelty. [...] All natives - it's the same whether they are civilized or savage - consider their country as their national home, of which they will always be absolute masters. They will not voluntarily accept, not only a new master, but even a new partner. And it's the same for the Arabs. [...] I flatly reject this assessment of the Palestinian Arabs. Culturally they are 500 years behind us, spiritually they do not have our endurance and our strength of will [...] Every indigenous people will resist foreign colonizers as long as they maintain a hope of getting rid of the danger of foreign colonization . »

(4) Albert Einstein, Hannah Arendt, et al., December 4, 1948, New York Times: “Among the most disturbing political phenomena of our time is the emergence, within the State of Israel, newly created, of the "Freedom Party" (Tnuat Haherut), a political party which closely resembles, in its organization, its methods, its political philosophy and its social pretensions, the Nazi and fascist political parties. It was created by members and sympathizers of the former Irgun Zvai Leumi [IZL], a chauvinistic, right-wing and terrorist organization in Palestine. [...] The [??] Deir Yassin incident illustrates the character and actions of the Freedom Party. Within the Jewish community, they preached a mixture of ultra-nationalism, religious mysticism, and racial superiority. Like other fascist parties, they were used to break strikes, and themselves encouraged the destruction of free unions. In their convention, they proposed corporate unions on the Italian fascist model. During recent years of sporadic anti-British violence, the IZL and the Stern Group ushered in a reign of terror among the Jewish community in Palestine. [....] This is the unmistakable mark of a fascist party for whom terrorism (against Jews, Arabs, as well as the British), and false declarations are means, and a "Leading State" is the objective. »

gas-lighting jews....

Silencing Francesca Albanese    By Eugene Doyle

It was with a sense of disgust rather than despair that I read in the Jerusalem Post this week: “‘Antisemitic’ UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese banned from Israel.” We’re being gas-lighted again and this is a chance to push back against the narrative that to support victims of Israel is to somehow be antisemitic.

Back in November as the Israeli exterminations of Palestinians were ramping up, I had the privilege to hear and speak to Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories. She was paying a long-scheduled visit to Australia and New Zealand and spoke to government ministers, relief organisations, journalists and packed halls of citizens who shared a sense of horror at what was playing out in Gaza. Her speeches were filled with knowledge and forensic clarity, only matched by her decency and sense of humanity – which extended to great courtesy shown to a lone and agitated Israeli supporter at a meeting I attended.

In issuing the banning order, two Israeli ministers stated: “The era of Jews being silent is over. If the UN wants to return to being a relevant body, its leaders must publicly disavow the antisemitic words of the special envoy.”

This is of course a vulgar lie told by ministers actively pursuing genocide. These two indeed aren’t silent: the scream, roar and boom of their shells, missiles and snipers’ bullets have shouted to the world how far the Zionist state has descended into the bowels of depravity. The Jewish diaspora are anything but silent too – I have been immensely impressed by the courage and persistence of Jewish people worldwide who have shunned the fiction that to be anti-Zionist is to be antisemitic. I hear them loud and clear chanting with righteous indignation, “Not in our name!”

What really steamed the ministers and momentarily deflected their attention from the slaughter of innocents was Albanese’s riposte to a casual lie by French President Emmanuel Macron: “October 7 was the largest antisemitic massacre of our century.”

Albanese responded, quite rightly, surely self-evidently: “The victims of 7/10 were not killed because of their Judaism but in response to Israel’s oppression.” She also stated her respect for the victims of the attack.

When courageous people are attacked by malign and powerful actors, it takes moral clarity and steely determination to walk into a sea of troubles and oppose the true villains. We all need to do that now – and not remain silent.

In the past couple of months Israel has, with the complicity of the white-dominated Western countries, tried to destroy UNRWA, the primary UN organisation providing relief to the Palestinian people, as they endure this genocidal siege.Because of Israel’s powerful allies, the International Criminal Court has kept mum and ignored the vast number of human rights atrocities committed by Israel. The Israelis have also hoicked and spat out their contempt for the International Court of Justice. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir commented, “Hague Smague – The ICJ has only proven what everyone already knew, that it is only seeking to prosecute the Jewish nation”.

Traducing the ICJ in this way is another attempt to gaslight us all. If we can do one decent thing it would be to get our governments to raise their voices in defence of the brutalised and besieged United Nations.

Albanese told audiences on both sides of the Tasman: “When I speak of human rights, I speak of both the Palestinians and the Israelis, who are stuck in a settler colonial regime; this is what we have to solve together.” She went on to say, “ I will always stand with the victim.”

There is good reason to try to silence Francesca Albanese. She is an authority in the detail of the dehumanisation inflicted on the Palestinians. She has seen the daily lack of proportionality, the discourse of genocide, the military and administrative controls, the deprivation of sanitary services, food and medicine, the surveillance technology, the casual killings, the financial chocking of a people, the way the Israelis are eating up Palestine inch by inch as the West looks the other way. In short, more than most people she understands the structural system of oppression that is denying the Palestinians the right to exist as a people – culturally, economically, politically. She is a humanist and the exact opposite of an antisemite.

Albanese is one of legions of good people besieged by Israel and its allies. The racist white elites in Europe and the USA are more than happy to adopt a definition that conflates anti-Semitism with criticism of Israel, using the recently-minted International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition as a tool to silence (that word again) defenders of Palestinian rights.

When the right-wing of UK Labour set to work to oust Jeremy Corbyn, they succeeded, deploying an antisemitic slur. By the time the purge had finished, thousands of Labour progressives had been eliminated from the party membership, including large numbers of Jewish progressives. The Labour Files, a must-see Al Jazeera documentary, based on a data dump of internal Labour files, uncovered the astonishing statistic that if you were a Jewish member of the UK Labour party you were seven times more likely to be expelled for antisemitism than a non-Jew.

It’s high time we kick this ghastly trope, this despicable manoeuvre equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism into the dustbin of dirty tricks. Jewish people have suffered persecution for their faith over the centuries. It does their memory a huge disservice – not least because now it is quite clear that genocide is the highest stage of Zionism.

For the record: I have Jewish friends who I invite to read and critique my articles before publication. They are not self-hating Jews, they are not antisemitic, and nor am I. We stand shoulder to shoulder with Jewish people worldwide who are appalled at what is being done in the name of Judaism.

Francesca Albanese said something else memorable that evening: “History is also made of watershed moments, when things change. Let’s make this one of them.”

egyptation.....

dehumanization....

by Gideon Levy

As in the good old days, Israel once again worships its army. The raid that freed Luis Norberto Har and Fernando Marman sparked a crescendo of joy and a resurgence of national pride. The “cleared for publication” video clips take us back to the days when the army looked like a Hollywood production and everyone was praising Yaman's anti-terrorist unit and the security service of the Shin Bet. It was a perfect operation, all the intelligence experts said, with zero casualties.

 https://i0.wp.com/reseauinternational.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Mar... 300w, https://i0.wp.com/reseauinternational.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Mar... 320w" data-recalc-dims="1">

Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Norberto Luis Har, 70, after their release

It was indeed an impressive operation and a cause for celebration, but it was not perfect and there were certainly no “zero casualties”. The fact that at least 74 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed during the operation was barely mentioned in Israel. Perhaps these deaths were inevitable. Perhaps even if the Palestinian death toll had been seven times higher, it would not have dampened the celebration. Two very nice Argentinian-Israelis have been released and everything else doesn't matter.

The images I saw of the Rafah hospitals on the day of the rescue were among the most horrific I have seen in this war. Children torn apart, convulsing, helplessly watching their deaths. The horror. There is no need to enter into the moral dilemma of whether the release of two hostages justifies the deaths of 74 people – that question is superfluous in such a cruel war – to highlight Israel's complete disregard for collateral deaths. . On the day of the operation, Israel killed 133 people in Gaza, most of whom, as is the norm in this war, were innocent civilians, including many children.

We were all happy that they were released, and the operation itself was moral and fully justified. But the disregard for the deaths of dozens of people, as if they were not human, is a scandal. Free more and more hostages, as many as possible. Marvel, rejoice and be proud – but at least mention the terrible price paid by the people of Gaza for this righteous operation. The torn children played no role in the hostage taking. They are destined to pay the cruel price for Hamas's action. Along with our joy, we cannot help but think of them and their fate. An operation cannot be perfect if that is its price.

The disregard for 74 people killed in a fair and just operation should surprise no one. The dehumanization of Gaza residents in this war has reached a level we have never experienced before, even after decades of dehumanization of Palestinians under occupation.

The scandalous lack of coverage of the suffering in Gaza by most Israeli media will forever be remembered, or at least I hope so. As a result, most Israelis view Palestinians as non-human, or even non-animal. In Israel, Gaza's more than 28 deaths are seen as just a number, nothing more. The uprooting and displacement of millions of people displaced from one place to another as if they were a herd of sheep and the incredible brazen presentation of this situation as a "humanitarian measure» further dehumanized the residents of Gaza. If we believe that they are human beings, we certainly cannot treat them like this. You can't mistreat people for so long if you believe they are human beings.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not the most tempestuous politician in his government – even the International Court of Justice in The Hague has failed to find a single genocidal declaration on his part (contrary to popular belief). passed with President Herzog). However, he expressed this dehumanization in a particularly picturesque way when he compared Israel's war against Hamas to a glass cup that we had already broken; now, he said, the fragments remain and we trample on them until there is nothing left. Netanyahu was talking about Hamas, but after all, everyone knows that Gaza is Hamas. We have broken the glass of Gaza, now we walk on its fragments until they turn into grains of sand, into air, into nothing – into human dust, into subhuman dust.
