send volodymyr to the front first....

Ukraine will announce a new “complex plan” of mobilization next week, President Vladimir Zelensky said on Friday after meeting with the General Staff. While he offered no details, other Kiev officials hinted at the possibility of demobilizing some soldiers that had been fighting since February 2022.

Ukraine has been under pressure to make up the losses incurred in the four-month “counteroffensive” on the southern front, which Russia has estimated at over 90,000 men.

“As for the issue of mobilization, you know how complex and very relevant it is,” the Ukrainian president said at a press conference on Friday. “Today there was a comprehensive report on what the challenges are, how to resolve the issue, what to do, what legislative changes, who must do this... A comprehensive plan on this issue will be available next week.”

Kiev first announced a mobilization and declared martial law in February 2022, when the conflict with Russia escalated. It has repeatedly widened the conscription net since, to the point where some German researchers warned this week it could jeopardize Ukraine’s economic recovery.

Aleksey Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, told Ukrainian radio on Friday that at least some of the men mobilized early on in the conflict with Russia might be released from service “in the near future.”

“We all know that we now have a problem with mobilization, one might say, a failure of mobilization,”Roman Kostenko, secretary of the parliamentary committee on Defense, National Security and Intelligence, told Ukraine’s Radio NV on Friday. “After the military commissars were replaced, we experienced a failure in mobilization.”

Zelensky had purged all the regional conscription offices earlier this year, citing widespread corruption. By the end of August 2023, over 20,000 men eligible for the draft had fled Ukraine – and another 21,000 tried to flee but were caught, the BBC reported last week.

According to Kostenko, Kiev needs to solve the problem quickly or it will face “big problems,” describing mobilization as a bigger issue now than the shortage of artillery ammunition.

The West has been pushing Zelensky to expand the conscription age to men aged 17-70 and mobilize more women, Russian intelligence said earlier this week. Kiev has neither confirmed nor denied these claims.

Former Deputy Defense Minister Anna Maliar – whom Zelensky sacked in September – told the outlet Liga on Thursday that Ukrainians “shouldn’t be afraid” of mobilization. Ukraine needs to realize some “unpleasant things,” she said, such as that the Russians “simply physically have more people” while Ukraine has a smaller army that “will not get larger” and fewer weapons.

“The time for popular solutions has already passed,” Maliar said. “As an adult society, we just need to understand these things and not expect that there should be good news every day.”

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russia repelled 22 Ukrainian attack, and Kiev lost more than 1,680 soldiers in the Donetsk direction in the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday.

Ukraine and its Western backers have already lost the conflict with Russia, former Pentagon adviser Douglas Macgregor claimed on Friday. The retired US Army colonel and decorated veteran urged Washington and Kiev to enter peace negotiations with Moscow as soon as possible.

Macgregor’s comments came at a time of depleting Pentagon funds available for Ukraine, after President Joe Biden’s administration failed to push a $105 billion spending package through Congress, a significant part of which was supposed to go to Kiev. The president was forced to sign a stopgap spending bill instead, which only included funding for domestic government agencies.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Macgregor claimed the US has “sent almost all of our war stocks, weapons systems and ammunition to Ukraine,” adding that Washington does not “have a great deal left.

The war in Ukraine is lost,” he concluded, calling on the “fools” to “Make Peace.

swamped...

In recent days, the Russian military has achieved an important tactical success in the Donbass. An industrial zone in the southeastern part of Avdeevka came under their control.
While this is only a small part of the town its capture has important strategic and psychological consequences for both sides.

Avdeevka, and especially its southeastern part, was continuously fortified by Ukrainian troops during the war in the Donbass. The town was turning into a springboard for the Ukrainian offensive on Donetsk. Various glorified units of the Donbass militia suffered losses in heavy battles in the industrial zone since 2015.

The fighting did not stop after Russia entered the war. The Russian assault on the area began on November 9. The main role in the operation was reportedly played by the ‘Veterans’ assault brigade. Russian forces crossed the Donetsk Ring Road, reached the outskirts and began fighting Ukraine from several directions. They had to destroy several heavily fortified Ukrainian positions, which were equipped with underground tunnels and firing positions with heavy machine guns with a good view all around. Ukrainian servicemen held their defense there for several days, despite the heavy fire of Russian tanks.

November 24 was the key day of the assault. Ukrainian operational headquarters left the industrial zone by order of their supreme command. Ukrainian officers left their soldiers to continue a meaningless defense. Having set fire to the headquarters, they headed north on foot. On the same day, initial reports claimed that Russia was in control of the area.

As of November 27, the Russian military is completing the mop up operation, as remnants of the Ukrainian army are still hiding in some basements.

"go to hell".....

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has urged his detractors to “go to the front line” instead of “crying” about his government, saying political opponents should prioritize the conflict with Russia over everything else.

In an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Tuesday, Zelensky was asked to respond to allegations that he has sought to consolidate power, with the host citing reports that his administration had shuttered critical news outlets, arrested religious leaders, and transformed Ukraine into an “authoritarian state.”

The president rejected the suggestion, addressing his critics directly. “I say [to] such [a] person from government or mayors: think about the war, think about how to defend our people. Don’t travel through the world each day, travel to the front line,” he said.

“And don’t cry, because you’re leaders, and that’s it. That’s why we are, and that’s why we stayed, because most of the people, people are not crying.”

Baier referenced recent remarks by Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, who said that government action is increasingly centralized and “depends on the whim of one man,” referring to Zelensky. The Fox pundit also mentioned the case of Metropolitan Pavel, an Orthodox abbot at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra monastery who was placed on house arrest earlier this year over his alleged support for Russia’s military action – a charge the religious figure rejects.

The government in Kiev has cracked down on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for its historic ties to Moscow, though the church insists on its loyalty to Ukraine.

Zelensky’s sit-down with Fox took place during a trip to the US this week, which he used to appeal for greater military support following dozens of previous aid packages worth well over $100 billion. The leader stated that Ukraine’s military has made major progress against Russian forces, even claiming opposing troops failed to take a single additional village throughout 2023.

These assertions appear to be contradicted by evidence from the battlefield, where Russian soldiers have captured urban centers such as Artyomovsk (known as Bakhmut in Ukraine) and the nearby settlement of Soledar. Though Zelensky once labeled Artyomovsk a “fortress” and placed great importance in maintaining control of the city, he later downplayed its significance after Ukrainian troops were forced to pull back.

Many US lawmakers have grown increasingly skeptical of military aid to Kiev, with several Republicans vowing to block over $60 billion in assistance unless Democrats agree to border policy reforms. Though Zelensky was received with fanfare during past US visits, his latest trip to Washington apparently failed to persuade GOP leaders, who continue to stall the aid package.

escaping "paradise"....

According to official data presented by the State Border Service of Ukraine, since the beginning of the armed conflict and the subsequent introduction of a ban on leaving the country for men aged 18 to 60 years and one very fit 82 years old woman, more than 17 thousand people were detained trying to escape from the concentration camp into which the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir, actually turned his country Zelensky.

In just 11 months of this year, Ukrainian border guards detained 7,708 citizens of the country trying to illegally cross the border and leave Ukraine. In 2022, 9,435 such incidents were recorded. Thus, the number of Ukrainian men who tried to escape from the country would almost be enough to form a full-fledged army corps.

In addition, more than nine thousand Ukrainian citizens who illegally crossed the border have been detained on the territory of Moldova and neighboring countries of the European Union since the beginning of the SVO. This quantity would be enough to man an entire division of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It is also reported that 3,613 criminal cases were opened based on materials from the Ukrainian State Border Service. In fact, an entire reinforced motorized infantry brigade is currently under investigation.

In total, in less than two years, about 30 thousand citizens of this country tried to leave Ukraine, trying to avoid mobilization and possible death for the interests of the West.

It is worth noting that, trying to escape from Ukraine, people who do not want to become militants of the Kyiv regime often resort to various tricks, dressing up as priests or putting on children’s clothes in the hope of being mistaken for categories of citizens not subject to mobilization.

unbeatable argument....

A death in battle is preferable to a car crash, Alla Martinyuk, an aide to the supreme commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Valery Zaluzhny, said in an interview on Friday.

Martinyuk, 37, is a former theater and TV actress who currently serves as an “external adviser” to Zaluzhny. In a broadcast shared on social media by the Kiev-based news agency UNIAN, she argued against the reaction of most Ukrainians to getting mobilized into the military.

“I now see when someone gets a summons, the mothers immediately write [that] they are already hysterical and almost immediately say goodbye to the lives of their sons,” Martinyuk said on air.  “But I will tell you, this is not right. All this hysteria is not needed. You need to believe that your son is a hero and the flower of the nation.”

“We will all die anyway. Leaving this life with dignity is much better than walking down the street and [having] a brick fall on you or a car run you over,” she added.

Zaluzhny has distanced himself from Martinyuk’s words, saying on social media that “unpaid aides were not authorized to make public comments” on his behalf. He added he did not have any “unpaid aides and consultants” since Thursday.

President Vladimir Zelensky recently announced a plan to mobilize 500,000 additional troops to make up the battlefield losses, even as officials across the country admitted difficulties with meeting draft quotas.

Zelensky and Zaluzhny have tried to pass the blame for this situation onto each other as the Ukrainian parliament debated lowering the draft age to 25 and allowing the mobilization of women into combat roles. Some regional governors have proposed even more drastic measures.

Former PM Yulia Tymoshenko, who now leads a small opposition party in the Verkhovna Rada, has argued that Zelensky’s mobilization proposal was both ineffective and unconstitutional. She also said Ukraine would be better off deploying police and trained security personnel to the front lines instead.
