la belle france au bel fromage.....Emmanuel Macron’s government has made the French nation irrelevant on the world stage. Day by day, horrendous internal and external policies transform a once irreplaceable nation and culture into nothing more than a tourist attraction and playground for elites. Early this morning, I saw a share on Facebook of the French ironclad Redoutable in dry dock. The photo from 1875 showed the sleek outline of the first warship in the world to be built in steel.

The French created so many world-changing innovations in her history. Most people don’t know that cinema, as we know it, would not exist had Louis Le Prince not applied the principles of Chronophotography created by Étienne-Jules Marey. Hydrogen may not have been discovered until decades later has Antoine Lavoisier not found it in the late 1700s. Great French scientists like Pierre and Marie Curie (Radium), Georges Claude (Neon lighting), Louis Pasteur and Claude Bernard (Pasteurization), Blaise Pascal (calculator), Henri Becquerel (radioactivity), Jean-Baptiste Denys (blood transfusion), Nicolas Sauvage (the taxi), and hundreds of other Frenchmen innovated and invented to create everything from the first automobile to the parachute. The helicopter, the seaplane, the ramjet, the Jacquard loom, and even Louis Réard’s bikini bathing suit are but a few other meaningful things France brought to the world in the past. We shouldn’t forget the pencil sharpener or the first sonar. Of course, we must remember that most of these significant innovations came during the French Colonial Empire, which provided the booty for thousands of projects. From the 16th Century, France was arguably the wealthiest country in the world (trading spots with Britain on and off). This being the case, we cannot leave off Jules Ferry’s declaration: “The higher races have a right over the lower races, and they have a duty to civilize the inferior races.” France’s greatness was always linked to conquest and imperialism. Though no one addresses this now, Robert Aldrich once claimed the last “vestiges of empire held little interest for the French,” ended in the 1960s. He argued: “Except for the traumatic decolonization of Algeria, however, what is remarkable is how few long-lasting effects on France the giving up of empire entailed.” For decades France has been forced to practice forms of economic neocolonialism in place from Algeria to Morroco. Now, the African nations want France out of their business altogether. The Guardian’s Nabila Ramdani wrote recently, “The Niger crisis shows France’s quasi-empire in Africa is finally crumbling.” The cries of “Down with France” by Nigerians outside the French Embassy there are the last alarm. Meanwhile, back at home, French pensioners have had to take to the streets to keep their hard-earned retirement net. When Macron tried to push pension reform past legislators even with millions of protesters in the streets, it signaled the beginning of the end of the Rothschild puppet’s reign. The only thing French still intact, besides the monuments in Paris and the French Riviera, is the spirit of rebellion against tyranny. And revolution is fueled by poverty, taxing the people, and pressing the citizens into a corner. The wealth of France, like many European nations, was built with the blood and resources of people around the world. And the new move to a multipolar world scares Macron and his benefactors to death. The reason is simple. France and other European nations could only have been so self-sufficient, rich, and powerful with the wealth they took from overseas. And now the French produce much of nothing. Some cars with funny names, bad engines, plastics, and perfumes are not enough to prop up 68 million people. The contraction on the world stage is killing France. The wringing out of the people will undoubtedly end in chaos if Macron and the elites continue. Some experts say France is in the process of what’s known as “Third Worldization.” In 2010 historian Alain-Gérard Slama claimed the whole of Europe is undergoing the same phenomenon. It’s all coming apart. Now it’s abundantly clear why the Western alliance is hell-bent on propping up Ukraine’s Zelensky. If Russia were to ever emerge to her rightful place as the strongest nation of Europe, France and the rest indeed would be just tourist attractions. At least, this is what the Washington, London, Brussels, and Berlin club of elites fear. It’s sad they cannot envision the bigger picture. It’s sad for the elderly Frenchman or Greek who must suffer the whole EU mess going broke. My only question is, will it be Macron and France that light the final bonfire?

tilting of the world....
by Freedoms TV
The so-called BRICS summit, meeting in Johannesburg a few days ago, consecrated the "tilting of the world". A world where the West is no longer in a dominant position as it was for centuries, already the GDP of the G7 countries no longer even represents half of the world GDP.
This event, which surprises blind or incredulous Westerners, was announced a long time ago by a French geopolitical scientist who chairs Geopragma, a center for international analysis, Caroline Galactéros. Among all the courages, this young woman, student and collaborator of Pierre Dabezies, very early had that of realism, always looking at "things as they are", distrusting passing ideologies and pocket moralines which hide more worse our alignment with Washington and its lies.
Admittedly, the rigorous Atlanticism keeps her on the fringes of Western well-thinking and its mainstream media, but she is nonetheless one of the rare French voices listened to throughout the world, single-handedly saving the honor of France in multiple regions of the world.
Let's get to know this exceptional woman better by virtue of her moral qualities and her intellectual height. Let's listen to her talk about her life, her family and her way of reading the major developments in the world, particularly in the Middle East, Syria and Iran, where she comes from, but also in Europe, particularly in Ukraine and Russia.

Perspectives on Geopolitics: "The world's tipping point" by Caroline GalactérosAPRIL 3, 2023
In this next essay in a series of 'Perspectives on Geopolitics' - a number of provocative reflections from participants of MCC Brussels' landmark conference 'The Return of Geopoltics? Europe a year after Russia's invasion of Ukraine' - Dr Caroline Galactéros examines how Russia's invasion of Ukraine has upended assumptions across the world. You can read the rest of the essays in this series here.
The era where globalization could be repeated as a magic mantra – solving world peace, prosperity and political development – is obviously over. Reality is making a great return: the new world is multipolar, poly-aligned and American hegemony is clearly at stake. American exceptionalism has taken a battering, and it will never be the same again. This is a revolution for the United States, this is the end of “the end of History”. The peoples of other nations, regions and cultures too deserve a history and a destiny.
Notwithstanding this, American hegemony is not essentially threatened by its military peer competitor, China, but by its own hubristic behaviour. Worse still, most of the world has lost trust in America: for their security, for their development, and for their future. Why?
The simple answer is this: for nearly 30 years now, the USA lied and disappointed their allies everywhere in the world. They gave the world global insecurity instead of the global security they proclaimed. Time and again, they managed only a purely egoistic assessment of their national interest, at the expenses of their allies. They pushed their unilateralism (another word for imperialism) so openly and profoundly that the narrative about human rights and liberal democracy is no longer universally believed. Everybody can see the double standards of their policy, the disaster of the sanctions they have advocated, and their trend of abandoning their allies: first the Afghanis, next the Kurds, and tomorrow, perhaps, the Ukrainians…
The current conflict between NATO and Russia – at the expense of the Ukrainian people – is a perfect demonstration of this ‘return of Reality’ in geopolitics. The growing influence of Moscow, especially in Africa and the Middle East, is not because anybody loves Vladimir V. Putin, but because they increasingly see him as a leader capable of standing up and successfully challenging Washington. The Russian head of state is, day after day, becoming the speaker for the Global South, representing them all. Paraphrased, he appeals to them as he says: “Not an inch further. We also have red lines, and we won’t accept any more US meddling in our internal affairs or any attack against our national sovereignty and security."
This, then, is the main long-range victory of Putin. The problem is not to decide whether it’s good or bad, moral or immoral. It simply is a fact, and we Europeans shouldn’t ignore it. The risk of being pushed into a suicidal war against Russia, which would deeply jeopardize Europe’s economic and security future, is growing.
Another big paradox: The war in Ukraine, staged by NATO and Washington for at least two decades to contain and bleed Russia, to speed regime change and eventually destroy Russian influence in Eurasia, is having the exact opposite effect. Contrary to the Western narrative in the mainstream media, the Ukrainian conflict has suddenly speeded the upheaval of the balance of power between the Collective West and the Collective South. The arrival of what I call “the world’s tipping point” (la bascule du monde) has been accelerated by this war in Europe. European countries are the ultimate collateral victims – if not the real targets – of this bloody adventure.
Will the Europeans, who believe that America is their trustful ally and are pushed to fight for America as the second line of proxies to destroy once and for all any link between Europe and Russia, realize their own interests are in fact different? Germany is certainly the best example of this brutal management of an American ally. Washington has shifted its focus in Europe from Berlin to Warsaw (some speculate about Polish soldiers fighting in Ukrainian uniform against Russia) and put Germany and Europe under its close, energetic, and economic control with the sabotage of Nord Stream 1 and 2 and the replacement of the cheap Russian gas by expensive American LNG.
We are also witnessing a deep shift in political and social values. European peoples are coming to realize that their cultural sovereignty – their traditional values, the protection of the family, the defence against the woke wave – is a key precondition for democracy and freedom. Europeans will defend this sovereignty against all forms of external destabilisation.
But still, Europe is deeply fracturing and must invent a way of surviving in this new world between USA and Eurasia. To my mind, the solution is to push the idea of a “Europe of Nations states” – contrary to the federalist trend which is weakening Europe, dissolving it, and pleasing Washington.
In the future, we will likely see the aggregation of a “Global South” around China and Russia but also around regional powers like Iran or Turkey. This will point towards an alternative world built on national resilience and State capitalism. Of course, the USA will resist this huge challenge to their hegemony. The ultimate threat for them is the de-dollarization of the world economy, a step that is clearly coming. Washington will consequently increase efforts to destabilize countries defying its will: demonizing China and keeping its European allies under close control and command.
So, very dangerous times are coming even if this strategy of an endless fight against a major part of the world is doomed to fail. Europe must regain some capacity to resist this stupid path to strategic fiasco, accept multipolarity as an opportunity and build its sustainable future both in cooperation and competition with the emerging new diverse group around the China-Russia tandem and some regional and sub-regional powers. For Europe, decoupling from the US’s aggressive foreign policy and adopting a smart attitude is a matter of life or death.
We’ve never needed dialogue and “third track diplomacy” more than now – and not just for the Ukrainian conflict. Big responsibilities are in front of us. Respect and consideration must be promoted; bullying, ideology, and dogmatism put aside. Realism is the core of the solution – and realism is the contrary of both dogmatism and cynicism. The United Nations system is imperfect, but it remains the only existing base of an international order and a possible place for dialogue. The same can be said of arms control agreements. We must commit ourselves to – and repair – these protective patterns to enhance the level of world security. It is the only way.

french diplomacy....
France needs to consolidate its diplomatic strategies as the international context was becoming more “complex”, Macron told French ambassadors at a meeting in Paris on Monday.
The world order is changing, with the situation getting “tougher” and “more complicated”, said Macron. This runs the risk of “weakening the West and our Europe in particular”, he said.
“Our international order is being challenged,” said Macron. “War has returned to European soil, anti-French sentiment is rife, fuelled by anti-colonialism or a perceived anti-colonialism that a double standard is being employed,” he said.
“We need to be clear, without being excessively pessimistic,” he said, citing the rise of “new forms of protectionism” and democratic backsliding due to a rise in illiberal powers
