the word from the outhouse .....‘As George W. Bush's latest 'surge' sputters toward a failure similar to his previous strategies 'for victory'; as the Red Cross recently warned of the worsening humanitarian crisis within Iraq; and as ministers aligned with the Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr threatened to quit Iraq's faltering government, the president continued his fight with the Democrats over war-funding. And he warned again, if the Democrats don't do exactly as he demands...he is going to make the "troops" pay the price. Bush's handlers "reckon" that kinda tough talkin', spur clangin', shot-O-whiskey slammin', Yeehhh-Hhhaawin' showdown at the Okey-Dokey Corral stuff makes the self-proclaimed 'Decision Maker' look like one tough hombre. But it doesn't. The problem is that they can surround Mister Bush with the entire U.S. military and wrap him in the flag of every branch of service and it won't matter. He'll still be the Vietnam War draft-dodging chump that played dress up on an aircraft carrier, so that he could declare "mission accomplished" in a war that's only now, more than four years on, getting started. George W. Bush doesn't look like a tough guy when he calls press conferences and utters silly threats and gibberish...it makes him look like Yosemite Sam AFTER Bugs Bunny has him so flabbergasted that he's on the verge of blowing off his own face with his own pistol.’ George W. Bush's 'Yosemite Sam' Temper Tantrums" meanwhile, back at the outhouse ….. The White House wants to appoint a high-powered czar to oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with authority to issue directions to the Pentagon, the State Department and other agencies, but it has had trouble finding anyone able and willing to take the job, according to people close to the situation. At least three retired four-star generals approached by the White House in recent weeks have declined to be considered for the position, the sources said, underscoring the administration's difficulty in enlisting its top recruits to join the team after five years of warfare that have taxed the United States and its military.

axis of liars .....
Four years ago, the United States, Great Britain and Spain, the axis of liars, had proclaimed from every grandstand that with Iraq bursting at the seams with weapons of mass destruction, as well as being a haven of peace for al-Qaeda members, it was necessary at all costs to assault Baghdad.
In so doing, they hoped to put an end to the actions of the terrorist network. The result?
Iraq is prey to a high-intensity civil war; the Taliban and their accomplices have reduced Hamid Karzai's function to that of mayor of Kabul and Osama bin Laden is still at large. The axis of liars doubles as a "conspiracy of imbeciles."
