This cartoon published between 1896 and 1897 tells of the woes of the Aussie male cricketers who could not save themselves from being the pits — even against women. Politically this has enormous ramifications in regard to the stupidity of this nation — still living in the past, under a bogan/yobo/shiree PM who is the president of the Noah's Ark Society, or stupid for short. The question still rages about "quotas" for women in his party of Menzies who admired women without understanding anything about them. At least Bob (Menzies) lived in an era of women doing "home economics" (cooking, ironing, washing) rather than polishing benches in parliament... He loved a well-ironed shit....
