talking shit, hastening slowly...Every time Tonicchio tries to salvage the furniture he gets in deeper into crap... :
He went on to explain why he did not believe marriage equality was inevitable, likening the push to the failed bid for Australia to become a republic. "There were many a few years ago who kept telling us a republic is inevitable," he said. "If this country lasts for a thousand years quite possibly at some point we might be a republic, but I don't think a republic is inevitable anytime soon and similarly I don't see same sex marriage as inevitable." Labor frontbencher Bill Shorten says Mr Abbott's comments demonstrate a black and white view of the world. "We've now got colour TV Mr Abbott, not just black and white TV," he said.... What an utter idiot... If it was for him only hastening slowly, we'd still have no internet and no TV... And he is trying to make us swallow his concoction of a nodey-noodley NBN !... Is he taking us for idiots or is he just plain more stupid than I though he ever was?...

goofy excuses...
Trying to explain goofs with goofy explanations is often a sign of high sociopathy. It's the way fully committed sociopath try to fudge and hide the truth of what they have done or are prepared to do.
When caught out, lesser sociopaths would admit being trapped and promise not to do stupid stuff again, though you know that as soon as you look somewhere else, a repeat goofy performance is on the card and designed to bugger someone else...
I feel that, when Tony opens his traps about love and marriage, he has the knack to turn any form of relationship — hetero or homo — into a purgatory for suppository... He is either completely cynical and utterly desperate to make your life miserable, while hastening slowly towards the royal presidency of this country, or he is plain stupid. I suggest he is a bit of both and this is far more dangerous than anything else ever, even found in the devious and manipulative Rudd, who still has your welfare at heart. Tony does not care one bit beyond he argument...
In regard to the economy, most serious journalists could not take Abbott seriously when he attacks Australia's economy that has done rather well under Labor during these years of the Global Financial Crisis — which for those who don't know, is still killing the economies of Europe and somewhat hurting bad in the USA. That the Aussie budget has gone in the red IS A BLESSING. Would the Australian budget still is in the black, the continuing high aussie dollar would have killed off all the remaining manufacturing industries. Only Labor can manage this on-going situation without turning workers into slaves and still provide services for all, instead of nannies to the rich.
Unfortunately, most serious journalists are not serious enough and prefer to be clowns.
the worst government in our history...
Bob Ellis considers the Abbott Government's record after its first 50 days in power.
After fifty days in office it is clear Tony Abbott’s is the worst new government in our history.
They have insulted our nearest neighbour, a nation with ten times our population, and brought us near war with them over boats they don’t want back, and hacked phones. They have insulted scientists, who will never now come to Australia, or stay long here. They have insulted a world conference on climate change by refusing to go to it. They have abolished the Ministry of Science, thereby declaring Global Warming will occur, if it does, when Christ returns with a sharp sickle and a box of matches. They have declared bushfires a part of ‘the Australian experience’ and encouraged eight-year-old arsonists to set them.
They will annul, if they can, a thousand gay marriages, distressing two million faithful homosexuals and their four million relatives and driving some to suicide. They will thus affirm Cory Bernardi’s comparison of sodomy with fornication with animals. They have thus affirmed the Prime Minister’s view that his sister will burn a billion years in hell.
And they have declared the deficit no longer an emergency and a surplus not likely before, oh, 2025. They have cheated the WA and Fairfax elections, after a serially cheated election in which their policies were not revealed, or costed, until a day before it.
http://www.independentaustralia.net/politics/politics-display/the-abbott-government-after-fifty-days,5878Unfortunately, this situation cannot improve from now on either... This cannot improve because of the mind-set of these Liberal (CONservative) idiots now ruling in Canberra... They are hell-bent like drunkards to push all the wrong buttons of the machinery of government... And they carry-on drinking from the mug of power...
They will tell you without flinching that copper is better than fibre optics and that global warming is crap... Bunch of imbeciles.
... and if you have not had enough of him...
The Washington Speakers Bureau says Mr Abbott boasts a "profound depth of experience" and is "keenly positioned to offer unparalleled insight on leadership, the global economy [and] global trade."
"Geography alone renders Australia vulnerable to terror, and thus Abbott is able to speak thoughtfully on terrorism and security in the 21st century, including the threat of ISIS and pervasive religious fundamentalism," Mr Abbott's biography notes.
He can also offer a "Western perspective on the future of Asia, explore the short and long-term future of China, and provide a unique and timely political outlook for your audience", according to the website.
Mr Abbott's profile on the Washington Speakers Bureau website.
Mr Abbott's preferred topics include advice on leadership, negotiation, election forecast and analysis, current events and Asia.
An online form invites anyone interested in hearing from Mr Abbott to nominate payment ranging from "travel and expenses only" to "over $40,000".
Mr Abbott earned nearly $540,000 as prime minister but his base salary dropped to $195,000 when he was relegated to the backbench.
The Washington Speakers Bureau also represents former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, former British prime minister Tony Blair, former US president George W. Bush and former Australian prime minister John Howard.
Mr Howard's fee is a minimum $40,000, according to the WSB's website. A report in the Washington Post has claimed "big name" speakers can command more than $50,000, while former presidents can earn up to $300,000 per speaking engagement.

The problem with Tony is he does not know much about what he's talking about. A lot of three word slogans, a lot of lies, porkies, subterfuges and straight out deceit... Ah well, good luck to him and bad luck to whomever and the farm animals, in the audience.
