Joyce denies 'rowing with other team' on IR
Nationals Senator Barnaby Joyce has welcomed the Government's response to his concerns relating to unfair dismissal laws.
The changes will allow businesses with up to 100 employees to be exempt from the laws.
However, Senator Joyce says there could be a loophole allowing larger business to also avoid the provisions.
Prime Minister John Howard has indicated he is open to suggestions for change.
Senator Joyce says he is happy with Mr Howard's response.
"That's very good to hear and also dispels the notion that this is some sort of arbitrary totalitarian process that will circumvent the parliamentary process," he said.
