Last night a group of YDers met in Brisbane and formed an administration committee, with a charter to manage the financial and administrative affairs of the website.

The group, which we hope to also develop into a local YD group, is called True Blue Democracy.

I was elected Chairperson.

Daemon was elected Secretary, and will post minutes of our meeting and future meetings here.

Maggie May was elected Treasurer. She will publish all of our accounts here.

I'll open a bank account, hopefully today, and we can get on to setting up Paypal on the site.

I did not publicise this first meeting on the site, but rather emailed everyone I could find registered in Brisbane electorates. If I missed you it was a genuine mistake and please get in touch

if you'd like to be involved.

Note that to date I have more-or-less been the administration of this site. Later this year my contract will end and the admin, site-maintenance etc will be completely voluntary. This committee, which if there were groups in other cities could migrate from year to year perhaps, will be the management of YD, under the executive control of Margo Kingston.

We shall meet on the third Monday of each month.
