ukraine’s “provocation” has failed, putin told russian media.....

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Journalists from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) have illegally visited Russia's Kursk Region and published a report about the trip on Wednesday.

The journalists, accompanied by the Ukrainian military, crossed the Russian border without authorization and visited the town of Sudzha and nearby villages, the ABC's report said. They admitted that their trip had come with risks, not just from being in a combat zone, but also that they are unlikely to ever be able to set foot in Russia as individuals.

The authors of the report and photos taken on Russian territory are ABC correspondents Kathryn Diss and Fletcher Yeung.

You never see the dehumanisation of Palestinians in Western society exhibited so clearly as when something bad happens to Israelis during the genocidal assault on Gaza.

Western officials are publicly weeping about six dead Israeli hostages, including one Israeli-American, who the IDF says were recently killed by Hamas.

Jackson Hinkle on 'Frightening' Clampdown on Alternative Media in US: All That’s Left is to Jail Us

Sputnik sat down for an interview with independent journalist, political commentator and influencer Jackson Hinkle, who shared his impressions on the sorry state of free speech in Biden's America for alternative media, as well as life in Russia's liberated territories.

“It’s very frightening what they’re doing to Dimitri Simes and what they’re doing to Scott Ritter,” US journalist and political commentator Jackson Hinkle told Sputnik on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, commenting on the recent wave of raids by the FBI targeting alternative media personalities in the US.

an operative of canadian and ukrainian intelligence.......

Canada’s National Post is refusing to comment after one of its columnists revealed himself to be a collaborator with Western-aligned intelligence agencies. A Canadian activist is now threatening to sue the paper after the confessed spy smeared him in a front page article.

Adam Zivo, a columnist who covered the war in Ukraine for Canada’s National Post newspaper, has outed himself as an operative of Canadian and Ukrainian intelligence. The admission came as Zivo publicly leapt to the defense of Canada’s Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), in response to a wave of online mockery directed towards a post by the spy agency which asked readers, “Has a stranger ever tried to inflate your ego?,” before warning them that such flattery “could be elicitation.”

always blaming the russians for "interferences" in US elections....

The US Department of Justice has charged two Russians it identifies as RT employees with money laundering and working as foreign agents for their alleged role in pushing video content that sowed “discord and division” in the US.

In a criminal indictment unsealed on Wednesday, US prosecutors claimed that Konstantin Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva financed and directed a Tennessee-based production company that published English-language videos to various social media platforms aimed at amplifying “domestic divisions in the United States.”

These videos were viewed more than 16 million times on YouTube alone, the indictment alleged, and, according to FBI Director Christopher Wray, represented an attempt to “trick Americans into unwittingly consuming foreign propaganda.”

X vs brazilians....

Tech mogul Elon Musk has vowed to seek the seizure of Brazilian government assets in the US if Brazil does not return property belonging to his companies X (formerly Twitter) and Space X.

Last week, the Supreme Court of Brazil ordered the operations of X to be “immediately suspended” and threatened a fine of 50,000 Brazilian reals ($8,874) per day against anyone trying to sidestep the ban on accessing the platform using a VPN. The judge gave Google and Apple five days to remove X from their app stores. The ruling was upheld Monday by a panel of federal supreme court justices.

The court also froze the accounts of satellite internet provider Starlink, a subsidiary of Musk’s SpaceX, to ensure the payment of fines imposed for failing to appoint a new legal representative for X in Brazil.

PROPAGANDA, censorship and history recorded the wrong way?.....

Editing a book about the media and the war in Ukraine taught me first-hand lessons about censorship. It also confirmed that the Western media’s pro-elite bias is as strong as ever. At an academic conference in Europe in the summer of 2023, I witnessed how several audience members shouted at one of the speakers. That’s not how such meetings are supposed to go. They should be much less eventful.

therefore would be perfectly coherent and logical.....

Macron called a dissolution of the Assembly and emergency elections on the eve of summer, hoping that this would allow him to finish his term by governing with the RN. The plan did not go as planned, and for the past two months, he has been doing everything he can to erase his failure and stay in power.

To “test” public opinion, a whole series of detestable names were circulated during the summer as possible Prime Ministers: the far-right Wauquiez, the air-eating politician Xavier Bertrand, the enlightened bourgeois Valérie Pécresse and even Ségolène Royal. Nothing was spared to us. Figures who only represent themselves but are hated by almost everyone.

A new book and two new exhibitions explore the concept of the American Dream – and how it came to represent both a utopia and a dystopia.

"Sadly, the American Dream is dead," Donald Trump told an audience of supporters when he announced his bid for the US presidency in 2015. "But if I get elected president, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before."

As the US elections of 2024 draw nearer, the American Dream is back on the agenda, with President Biden also promising to restore it, stating in a speech in November 2023 that "Bidenomics is just another way of saying 'the American Dream'."

Russia won WWII, not the West – Roger Waters
The Pink Floyd co-founder has recognized the USSR’s role in defeating Adolf Hitler

The world owes the Soviet people a debt of gratitude for defeating the Third Reich, musician Roger Waters has told RT in an exclusive interview.

Waters, 80, is well-known as co-founder of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. He has also been an outspoken human rights advocate. He spoke with RT about the ongoing plight of the Palestinians in Gaza, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and censorship in the West, among other things.

“Weaken the Russian people’s resolve? Do you know who they are? They are the people who defeated the Wehrmacht!” Waters told RT, addressing the purported goals of the US and its allies in the Ukraine conflict.

the genocidals in israhell are trying as hard as they can to provoke an apocalyptic war....

The Global Majority is fully aware that the genocidals in Tel Aviv are trying as hard as they can to provoke an apocalyptic war – with full US military support, of course.

Contrast that combative mindset with 2,500 years of Persian diplomacy. Iran’s acting Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri Kani, has recently remarked how Tehran is trying hard to prevent “the Israeli regime’s ‘dream’ of triggering an all-out regional war.”

While Israel increasingly isolates itself on the international stage, BRICS members Iran, Russia, and China are quietly coordinating a full-spectrum effort to support Palestine diplomatically and militarily.

Since the onset of the Gaza War, many Australians have urged the Albanese Government to speak up in condemning the Netanyahu regime’s constant breaches of international law and to act urgently to protect innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank.

While the government has been strident in attacking those Green and Independent parliamentarians who dared to voice their concerns about the devastating death toll of Palestinian civilians , the Australian prime minister has continually refused to condemn the indiscriminate retaliatory behaviour of the Israel Defence Force.

borrell, on his way out, wants to be remembered as the most annoying jester of european politics...

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, claiming that there is no alternative to negotiations between Russia and Ukraine other than the "Zelensky formula," wants to remain in history as Europe's main Russophobe, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

"In his last speech, Josep Borrell said that there is no alternative to negotiations other than the 'Zelensky formula.' I thought that they at least have an education, that they have an understanding of how to conduct a reality-based policy. This is a dead end. It is clear that Borrell now wants to go down in history as the main Russophobe in Europe. He is leaving his posts. This is amateurism or already madness that has replaced the minds of diplomats and politicians," Lavrov said in an interview with RT for the documentary "Bridges to the East."
