making us even safer .....
If you are in the UK the street surveillance is out of hand, does government really need a camera on every corner. The UK recently started a program enlisting covert human intelligence sources. Children as young as eight have been recruited by councils to "snoop" on their neighbours and report petty offences such as littering, the UK Daily Telegraph disclosed. The "covert human intelligence sources", as some local authorities describe them, are also being asked to pass on the names of neighbors they believe to be responsible, or take down their number-plates. How perfect does society truly have to be, that government enlist children to police. Some would say rats. Again I wonder who is running the show are politicians really interested in what is best for people or society from the current standards I don't think so. Its nice that George and Laura Bush just purchased their two million dollar home in Texas while a large part of Americans are losing their homes, a little voice in my head says something is wrong with this picture. The adages of the inmates running the asylum I don't now if that's true it's seem more like the profiteers are running things and all of the social crackdown, mass surveillance in the name of safety is to control society and keep taxing the people.
