maxxed-out .....
‘After six years of spending the American taxpayers' money like an overindulged, forever prepubescent Ivy League frat boy on spring break with his Daddy's credit card; George W. Bush has decided that he has a plan to "balance the budget by 2012." Let's keep in mind that this is the guy who put together "the plan" - the "victory strategy" - for Iraq and, following Hurricane Katrina, the recovery plan for the Gulf Coast. In other words, if Bush decides to stick with his plan to balance the budget by 2012 and Democrats are goofy enough to go along with his foolishness - the deficit will double by 2008. President Bush has absolutely no credibility with the American people and his latest public relations offensive, no matter how hard the U.S. press tries to spin it for him, isn't going to help. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have probably given more money to Halliburton than their administration has designated for AIDS research and programs to fight poverty - saying nothing of the record-setting deficits they've created. And now they want to lecture Democrats about pork barrel spending and balancing budgets? Unbelievable!'
