It's Monday of Week Two
of the Walking Dream
When you wake up
you're still inside it
Sitting on the loo
counting your rolls
It's reality
your mind's denied it
The novelty has gone
just a bit too soon
Time will run slow when
Routine takes control
And when there's no sun
towards the end of June
how will we know how to
warm our soul?
It's Monday of Week Twenty
and I've baked the bread
Did I tell you about the
last book I read?
I'm playing banjo plenty
in an online open mike
I'm walking outside with the dog
I'm riding on my bike
Lifestyles can restructure
Keep it all alive, amd
we'll keep our sanities
while we survive
