Once again Tony Abbott kicks an own-goal with all the aplomb of a determined suicide-bomber.

That Abbott would use a piece of discredited Howard-era dogma as a basis for turning one of the very few government policy initiatives that has produced positive outcomes for Indigenous Australians on its head, is a mark of just how much of a neanderhal he truly is.

Whilst some might think that the resplendent palace for our political class in Canberra is the remotest & most expensive “life-style” choice ever funded by Australians, weight-for-age, the space between Abbott’s ears must surely qualify for that single honour by a country mile.

Will no-one rid us of this troublesome priest?
